Have you ever covered the secret options menu in GT4? It allows you to change multiple camera settings and also make semi-custom grids. I have a video showcasing it, it’s a huge game changer especially the camera settings.

The NASCAR drivers are in GT6 too and there are certain characters who show up as opponents in the exact same car every time. I remember the same driver would always end up in in the RE Amemiya Touge RX-7 from Best Motoring.

That easter egg with driver names on the GT500 Championship also happens on the Gran Turismo NASCAR Cup, where you can see the names of real stock car drivers driving their respective cars.

The number 49 in Japanese culture is also recognized as “死苦” as “死”means “death”, and “苦” means “suffer”. Some funeral companies use the number 4 and 9 in their telephone numbers cuz it’s easy to remember and it fits their company!

As a bonus, Rally Tokyo Route 246 have written year 2009 as I saw. If it's true, this could be a small reference to one GT5 demo where you have ready race presets (possibly E3 beta). One of them did let you drive Suzuki SX4 WRC around Tokyo R246. Maybe Citroen Xsara S2000 was an opponent in this race

Oh i remember i spot the omega boost one on the FTO, i was a huge fan of omega boost and actually played it once every year pretty much, since release back in 1998 or so, amazing scifi game :)

talking about the gt5 prologue special options there are also special options on GT4 allowing you to select usable cars, opponent cars and usable tracks as well as limiting the game to arcade mode using that with the time limit option allows you to basically make your own personalized demo of gt4 these options were actually used to do the gt4 miata demo

I got another kinda easter egg to share. In Gran Turismo 4, the RE Amemiya AMEMIYA ASPARADRINK RX7 '04, from my experience so far, is the only closed roof car in GT4, with a fully modeled and animated driver in the cockpit. It's odd seeing an animated driver in the car, considering that every other closed roof car in GT4 just has textured 2D driver silhouette inside while other roofless cars have animated drivers.

I checked out that GT3 easter egg. That 2 Player Battle just like F1 demo in Seattle is unlocked just after passing S licence. Then you also have Formula GT unlocked and that "?" sign gets out

Regarding that Marlboro ad in Madrid, it was actually an ad for a dance music session at Ananda club, just under Atocha train station, called Mxtronica and organized or sponsored by Marlboro. I can tell it was around summer 2007 or 2008 because I attended! This has activated some good memories.

I think 23:58 actually refers to Naoki Yamamoto, which was one of the actual drivers of the '12 RAYBRIG HSV-010. He won two GT500 driver's title in 2018 and 2020.

If you hold the brakes and accelerator on the Dodge Tomahawk in GT Sport, then release the brakes and quickly hold the brakes again, the car will do wheelies for as long as you want

14:56 as far as I know, it relates to the CES 2010 Bild of GT5. There, you could drive rally cars on R246 and the rally cars had that rally banner on them. Maybe they put is as a mistake on the car, maybe not

You talked about the Tokyo R246 Rally, but what about the Eiger Nordwand Rally? On Gran Turismo HD Concept, the Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car, there's a rally plate that reads "The Eiger Nordwand" on it. In the final game, it's replaced by a Gran Turismo rally plate. You can still find this plate however on the star/finish line of Eiger Nordwand. Interestingly enough, there's also a Toscana rally plate on the start/finish line of Toscana, however no car has bared the plate. Update: There is a way to have a car to use the Eiger Nordwand and Toscana rally plates: Drive one of the premium rally cars one of the tracks, and the Gran Turismo rally plates are replaced with the Toscana and Eiger Nordwand plates. This is seen best during the Toscana Time Trial event on The Grand Tour. Look closely at the front of the car, and the Toscana plate is there.

Fun fact: On Gran Turismo 5, playing in the F430 in the interior allows you to see the mileage count say exactly 430

Just when I think the easter eggs in this game have been exhausted, along comes more. Looked up the interior of the 2013 GT-R GT3 Nismo and sure enough, the "Rage" button is indeed the "Page" Button (Same goes for Ignition) so indeed its a misspelling on PD's part (Something that's happened multiple times). Kinda curious to see if that error is still there in GT Sport considering that car is one of many carried over from GT6.

In GT4, use any car at any circuit, wait until the last lap of the race, and come to a complete stop immediately as you start that final lap. Wait until all the other cars have passed you and completed the race. Congratulations, you came last.

Back when inplayed GT6, i made a GTR GT3 that could do a Wheelie for as Long as i wanted, granted that If keep the Speed of 360kph needed to do it. It does this because i used the same principle why the CLK AMG GTR and the 911 GT1 flipped at LeMans... The reason those two Cars flipped was that their splitter had to much of an upward angle rather than downward so it actually creates so much lift that it was able to flip the Car, so i gave my GTR all the rear downforce, No Front downforce and soft springs and dampeners, as Well as short travel and stiff suspension in the Front as Well as all Power upgrades...

I think the last name in the last Easter egg is actually Naoki Yamamoto. He raced the Raybrig nsx that is featured in gt6.

The randomized names for the B spec driver in GT5 were also interesting. Mine was called T Makinen.

TLDR: The Tokio Rally one seems more connected to licensing issues. The Xsara Kit Car is modeled after the one Bugalski and Puras raced in the 1998 Rally Cataluña Costa Brava, its WRC debut. Puras, despite having a Kit Car (remember, FF, N/A, cars made for customer racing) against 4x4 turbocharged World Rally Cars, led during part of the rally until the oil sump broke (Citroën Racing being overly optimistic and not listening to Citroën Hispania's indications as reinforcing it would mean extra weight). Bugalski, however, would end 5th the rally, the first WRC finish for the car, with number 17, which is featured here, but changing the Costa Brava logo for the Tokio one, which wouldn't give licensing problems. Thing is, thanks to the Kit Car's prowess in asphalt (a lot of mechanical grip and being lighter than World Rally Cars), Bugalski actually won Costa Brava (after Puras led and, again, retired with reliability issues as his engine ran more kms at the pre event test) and Tour de Corse in 1999. This led to Kit Cars being nerfed and eventually giving birth to S1600/S2000 and the creation of JWRC, where in the first year a certain Sébastien Loeb did rather well... (Yes, I love Kit Cars. I recently even published a book about them!)

The full gran Turismo 5 games also has the kiosk mode, however it was patched but if you have the original disc without an update you can play it, funnily enough, you can remove a few things from the menus like removing the 2 players in arcade mode, one of the things you can remove is the settings menu, obviously if you do this you won’t be able to access the menu to disable it meaning you have to start a new save if you want to change any setting. Slight oversight lol, I think it has a different code to access it in game aswell as some different settings

How about the "GT Concept" logo on side doors of tarmac cz3 rally car? Or some hidden cars in gt4 and gt3

Zhou and S. Vettel with their proper flags. Who knows, maybe there are countless of real driver names across GT Sport.

I am always down to see cute animals hidden out of view in Gran Turismo, I was playing GT6 recently to break my record in the Red Bull x2011 at goodwood, I guess I'll have to pay those bunnies a visit.

The reason why 4 is not used is that 4 is called "shi" in Japan. "Shi" is also called "death" in Japan, so it seems to be to avoid it.

I think I know why Klaus Ludwig's name is on the Ford GT. He drove for Ford on the IMSA GTP series in the mid 80's behind the wheel of the Mustang Probe. He picked up the car's only win at Laguna Seca in 1986.

The Ascari raceway was actuallly a reference to the automobile company of the same name (hence the logo) which started on 1994 to 2010

Look closely at the driver's name list by the end of the video and you'll also notice a "Kojima" last name as just like what you explained about the other real life JGTC, GT300,500 drivers And there is a known Hideo Kojima easter egg in the game too in photo mode

There is actually one way to see the face of the player/driver. I don't know if this is the same for other cars, but I know it works for this one. Use the Ford Focus RS WRC '07 on arcade mode and then go onto a track and then make a replay. Then go one of the interior views. The driver is wearing one of those open-face helmets or whatever they are called. I don't know if it's an Easter egg of the actual driver of the Focus, or if it's supposed to be the player face, but I think it's pretty neat

Do you know ab the out of bounds glitch on Top Gear test track in GT5? If u go to the end of the runway on the right before the start finish and drive into the corner at the right angle you'll break through a couple walls and get outside, not sure if it works in single player as I never unlocked it and only played in servers, but it's a fun glitch we found in lobbies

I saw in gt3 has a replay demonstrations in the replay theater a mini cooper versus an F1 car in grand valley speedway, the mini cooper get a 1 minute head start, this is kinda like 1 lap magic from gran turismo 4.
