Nice video Randy! Looks like you got a good start for engine tear down. Sounds like a bunch of hacks your cousin took his truck to if that's all they did. Obviously they failed to find the root problem. Lol! That's the difference between real mechanics and automotive technicians. Automotive technicians only know how to throw parts at the problem than figuring out the root cause of the problem like a real mechanic would do instead. Hope the heads are okay and are not cracked or warped from when it overheated. If and when you get this engine running again, I highly recommend putting in some Liqui Moly 2037 Pro-Line Engine Flush to clean and remove any remaining coolant inside the engine to prevent any further engine damage. This stuff works very well and it protects critical engine parts. You can purchase this from Amazon and it has very good reviews.

It's a downright shame when a citizen knows more then "certified mechanics" isn't it! It does provide great content though when they show what they really want! Have you or any member of your family owned a full size pickup though? All that ever gets shown in your videos are Rangers lol
