I spent hours trying to fix this exact same issue. I finally bit the bullet and paid someone to tow my Nissan to the dealership. After a quick scan,They had no idea what was wrong. They wanted to spend 4 to 6 hours to look at it ,charging me a total between $600-$700 plus the cost to fix whatever the issue is (If they figure it out). I had it towed back home. Watching your video I figured I probably have a broken wire as well but where to start? I thought, how about the same area as this video showed. Guess what? Same exact wire,same exact spot,broken. Spliced it back together and now the car runs like it always did. This is a VERY POOR Design from Nissan. Seriously, this wire is almost as thin as floss. I will NEVER buy a Nissan again. This POOR design could have left me stranded on the highway,backroads or any other place. Thanks so much for sharing, really appreciate this.

Dude! You are the man! I'm having the same issue with my 2002 Sentra, crank no start and no check engine light icon on the dash. Quality video quality, explanation of the diagnostic, explanation & view of the repair, and some good D.J.ing skills. That's what's up, I'll go start chasing wires since I don't have the fancy scanner.

I see so many people that neglect their batteries and the acid leaks on that harness. Haven't had that particular issue but the one I had was a no start,no dash lights and after some investigation found that the harness was just as corroded as the battery. Spliced eight of the wires and car came back to life. Scolded the customer lol cause we had recommended the battery the last four services. Enjoyed this one! Love to watch your vids man! Thanks

Yes. Batteries can destroy a harness real quick, i never understand why manufacturers insist on routing harnesses under batteries 🤔.. Im glad you like my videos, thanks for watching.

Lol. You had fun with this one... few jokes here & there. That's just a dumb idea of routing the harness under the battery, but I guess it's a sure fire way to have work in the future due to corroded wires. Excellent vid!
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, im not sure what Nissan was thinking with the way they routed that harness. I believe it also goes under the radiator on this car which is another bad idea..🤔.. thanks for watching. 👍

Hoping I could get some help here. I did an engine swap on my 05 sentra because the old engine blew. Rods were sticking out of the engine block. I got a 03 sentra engine in it now. Had to use the heads on the old engine because the new/used engine I bought didn't match. Now, I'm getting crank but no start. Tried everything. Even what I learned on this video. I changed about everything I can think of up to getting a new timing chain. My buddy, who's helping me says we're not getting power from the mass air flow sensor. Any idea what else I need to do?

Another great video...hopefully one day I will be as good as you! ... Only one question . Why no solder?
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
No need for solder on a wire to wire repair when you twist those wires together tight and seal it up. There wont be any issues with that repair in the future, and i suck at soldering..lol... You are as good as I am Drew. I see you everywhere, soaking up knowledge. I know you got it man👍🔧.. thanks for watching.

I know you always busy.but if you have any chance can you make a video about reprogram used or blank ecu. Many people have hard time to do it including me. Cause like how you get old pcm number and how to find correct file on Nissan system... Thank you for your time. Your channel should get million million view.
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
Process for programming blank computers is different using Nissan Consult 3+ vs a jbox and PC. I think i have a video showing the process of reprogramming. It was on a sentra no start i believe.

Hey great vids, whats the best way to learn how to read a diagram?
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
study what different things on the diagram are. Most manufacturers will use similar pictures for items like switches, resistors, bulbs, motors, etc.. You can google. "wiring diagram legend" that might yield some results.
