For 2002, that is one safe car! The body panels were more steel, compared to the hollow aluminum of newer cars which easily get totaled in any sort of accident. I own a 2004 es330. I think its the absolute best car you can get for the money.

@@thelastword71 Compared to the United States, income was relatively low (Korean’s income is about 1/2 to United States and 2/3 to Germany and Japan), and there were not many 5 series because South Korea has unique automobile industries such as Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors. But in South Korea, the BMW 5 Series is the best-selling premium car.
