Just replaced my alternator this morning following this vid! Super easy, took about 30 minutes and done & most of that time was removing and replacing the belt - dangers of being a weak old lady!!

Does the tensioner go back in the right tension needed after you let it go?

How did you remove the drive/serpentine belt so easy? 😭 should I try using a pipe along with my breaker bar? Also, should I lube the belts when I’m done?

i recently had to order a new one and was told by the ford dealership they stopped making the ones for the 2009 weirdly enough. had to buy an aftermarket one.

Hey what about the fuse able link between the alternator and the battery? How do you replace that?

For a 90 amp alternator they run around $120-160, for a 135 amp alternator they're roughly $240 after you return your original core.
