Yes 2 for manual and 2 for automatic Basically the connectors are different

I have a question did starter just go out ? We have a 2006 and you turn key and nothing happens . You can turn key several time and nothing happens . Was able to push on car at first and it start . But now that’s doesn’t help. Even moved shifter from park to drive several time and it doesn’t help. And then it will start . Like it has a mine of its own. You have a suggestion?

You can hit the starter solenoid a few times and then try to start it. See how it reacts if it starts or tries to start then that could narrow down your problem assuming its not an electrical issue

I have a 2013 Jetta and it has 0 mechanical issues and everything works. The only issue is that it doesn’t start or even click when I put the key in. Anyone kno what I need to fix cuz a lot of ppl r saying it’s not the starter?
