happened to me on a ford once, nothing wrong with the key or programming, or registering to the car. Just chip lost it's position on the key, too far away when inserted . there was a place that my chip was supposed to stay and had come out of place. from that time on I make sure and superglue the chips on the board. That is an xhorse universal chip (or what it looks like). You are such a great diag guy you need a key toolmax 500.00 you will never regret. It will check the immo ring on the column, remotes, make chips, from universal ones, so many functions to list. Put that other key back together and glue the chip at the key end (on the inside of course). Thanks for the lead adapters , got them with no problems. Thanks for all you share.

Thanks for sharing! Couldn't it have been something as simple as the chip being too far away from the vehicle because it was rattling around? Did you try putting it back in position and trying it when it still said position 8. we know the data PID that said blocked never changed, so it's possible it was still programmed fine?

I was thinking the same thing. I have had instances where the transponder was not properly placed and the vehicle didnt like it. Some are pickier than others.

it definitely crossed my mind that it could just "simply" be the chip out of position. But I wanted to start from scratch with a new one since those were already randomly being troublesome, but I will get the blade cut on it and try to see if it will work again after placing the chip back in its spot.

Hi Sir, I’m pretty sure glueing the rattling chip back in to place will make the key start the car again. Definitely with aftermarket PCF7935 it is very important to get the chip as close to the antenna ring as possible! Good luck and keep the video’s coming. K.

Thanks for make a good Video What if I grab a ews4 box of other car with an original key and plug in with the car. In this case May I be able to start the car?

I would say it's worth a try, that was actually one of the things I was going to try and do with this one but I was unable to find an ews with matching key here at the local yard. If you try this you will have to perform the ews dme alignment procedure before you try and crank it.
