Get a rough rattling sound when shifting from second to third gear (auto). Could it be due to a worn out rear engine mount?

Did u fix the vibration on brake cuz i have the same problem and once i shift from d to n it stopped

No, replacing this mount did not fix the vibration, later I check the struts and the mount were out also so I replaced the two front struts and the the vibration is fixed now.

So it was the struts that was the vibration problem while in drive?

What are the torque settings on the 18mm bolts in the bracket? Thanks

according to the service manual the torque for the 18mm bolt on the bracket is 80(8.2,59)

You replace because of a tear in the plastic the part stops/absorbs the shakin of the engine you have to jack the engine because it supports the engine from there it’s just remove the bolts and replace it

@@Kay-he7vf You should generally need to support the engine (or transmission) yeah. Yet he doesn't seem to do so for this particular mount.. I would think you would for any and every mount though.. hm
