It also works with out the special Volvo tool. The trick is -- you have to apply pressure to the piston while you need to turn it clockwise. It only takes about two turns to get it back. Don't forget to open the Brake fluid reservoir and either remove some of the fluid or put paper towels round it so you do not spill fluid on the car.The fluid WILL eat the paint! I did just put a wad of clean paper towel in top to catch the overflow. Use a Needle Nose pliers, sticking both point in the holes on the piston, to turn the brake piston clockwise. At the same time, use a large enough Channel-lock plier to apply, through he opening where the brake pads go, pressure to the piston. It does not have to be much and it is possible let the pressure go so you still can turn the piston. Or find a balance between the friction of the pliers on the piston and the ability to rotate. I did both of them this way. Took a bit more time but it worked.

I wish that there was a video on how to fix the parking brake. I have searched a lot on youtube but cant find any. Its a common problem that the lever arm and the spring on the caliper stucks..

Did you found a video for it?

No, but i fixed the problem. I have a friend that helped me. I just bought a new caliper and changed that out. Problem solved. Didnt managed to get the lever arm and spring move again.. so.. it was easiest to just change the whole thing. 60 euro :) not volvo oem but..
