Mine has a rattle every time the car is on. Replaced it with an oem pcv and noise went away for a few months and now the rattle is back. It sounds like when you remove the pcv and shake it, but constantly heard when the car is in idle. What could cause this? I don’t want to think it’s the cam chain tensioner that’s going bad 🤞🏼

How is the hose to the PCV valve? If the hose is collapsing could possibly cause that to happen.

It definitely can contribute to it, alot of people never change them. I recommend between 80,000 to 100,000 miles. Also the dealer parts are much better quality than the aftermarket ones.
