I am absolutely sold for life on these watches. I have the 7 and I’ve smashed it on everything for 2 years and it refuses to break lol. I always forget I’m wearing it until I smack a wrench on it and thank its build quality

Hey Thanks for the video. Crazy that you're the only DIY video of this common issue. Just picked up a Fiesta that's leakin real good from the same place where you showed. I am a little confused however There's a total of 4 seals right? (Drivers side out-side, which you show you replacing) Then the Inner one, which you noted was the one really leaking, which mine is too Then two on the passenger side right? Or am I confused how this all works. My Leak looks exactly the same as yours, with the outer one looking dry and the inner one looking like its seeping.

So typically there are just these two output shaft seals that go bad. My leak ended up being the singular input shaft seal inside the transmission, I made a video of that on my channel as well. There are other internal seals that are less likely to go bad, but the 3 seals I talked about are more common. The input shaft seal requires pulling the transmission which sounds daunting but really isn’t impossible. Thanks for watching and please subscribe! Replaced my axles a few days ago but still unable to get the driver's side buttoned up. For some reason, I cant get the hub assembly back together. Its like the new axle is too long. Funny thing is, I tried re-installing the old axle and have the same issue. Idk wtf 🤷‍♂️😅

It can be difficult to get it past the little circlip on the drivers side. It’s not easy. My advice is while you rotate it and bull have someone give the back of the axle (opposite end of transmission, a bump to get it to slip past the clip. It’s a pain but there’s a sneaky method to the madness

Nope just leaked fluid down the axles. Are you having some kind of noise issue?

@@gapperformance i am having a weird sound for sure, in neutral is makes like a weird noise 30 mph or less i think it is the input axle shaft bearing

@@columbiariverdetailing1943 could be, but mine was dripping between the motor and trans and running down the seal, or it might not have seated properly on reinstallation

How gentle did you have to tap the new seal in?@@gapperformance

@columbiariverdetailing1943 not too gently. I just made sure to use a rubber mallet and to take my time, but that said it only going in so far. I noted what the old ones looked like. If you use a regular hammer you’ll just mess up the new bearing
