After having to have the dual-clutch replaced in my 2013 Ford Focus Titanium a few months ago, now I have run into an issue where my transmission stops engaging while driving (feels like it shifts into neutral and won't pull). This video shows you the $35 fix that a Ford Dealership (Capital Ford of Charlotte, NC) wanted to charge me $2800 to repair and told me they would have to "drop the transmission" to replace the part(s).

Do You have vid of you taking doing the bottom one. I just did the top actuator and I wanna do bottom but can’t find a good bid for the bottom

When swapping actuators, does the battery have to be disconnected?

By all means, when working on or replacing electrical parts, always disconnect the negative battery cable.

If you still have the vehicle, you can look into joining the class-action lawsuit that people like Stern Law has filed against Ford for this defective transmission. Check out fordauthority.com
