Hi. In this video we will show you how to remove the lower bumper cover and grill to gain access to your headlights or replacement and modifications.

Nice video man, very thorough. I just went through this process over the weekend. Instead of popping those clips from above with the flathead screwdriver, I just went underneath the truck and popped them up from underneath to release them from the bottom of the grille. Just another way to do it without the potential of damaging something by prying with the screwdriver.

Popping the cover off from underneath is easier. You can see what you’re doing and you only pry on the clips , not prying on the surface face …

mommykiller51 yes there isn’t much more to do after following this video there are 4 large 16-17 mm bolts along the top of the bumper . After that there are 4 more bolts on the bottom . Two on each side holding the inner bumper brackets to the frame . Maybe an additional 30 minutes of work

You should buy a 2500 to prepare for that. They are not interchangeable in any way.

The 2018 Chevy Silverado I did today was a bit different just had to remove the grill and then bumper it didnt have the plastic going across the top of the bumper. The grill only had three bolts at the top then the rest was snap on. There is a video for it Here on KZfaq.
