good shout only changing the pully well done as I was watching it I thought new alternator noticed mechanics now dont wear overalls

Main dealers see them as scruffy, used to give us trousers with sewn in 'creases' down the front😂 and polo / sweatshirt.

2.0 TDCi.... rattling on the belt side.. I was wondering how you saved the customer from an expensive bill when it could have been the timing chain!

It could have been the crank it could have been the AC pump. I know for a fact that most garages would have put a new alternator on and not changed the pulley, hence saving the customer money by just replacing the pulley instead of the alternator
