Great job again Baz, seeing as you are doing so many of these, you could get a piece of Perspex and drill out your template for your timing cover bolts, just something a bit more permanent. Laser will probably bring one out!. I'm the same when it comes to putting my tools away after a job, I need to confirm I have them all. One question, the old belt looked like it had wandered on the cam pulleys towards the timing cover end, was that the "natural" position or had you moved it? (about 5:45 into the video)

HI baz great vid and is the oil pump gauze blocked cos it hasnt been serviced when it should have been or due to incorrect oil grade?

Some of these i see you have to lock the cam pulleys ,is this on the later engines

What damage has been done to the crank and bearings do u warn the customer to cover your own back

Why are manufacturers making life so difficult? Because these aren't supposed to be repaired! They're designed to fail at low mileage, this way, people have to buy a new car. It's great for turnover, but not for the consumer. Imagine an engine that fails within five years, or less. 🤔
