I took one for a spin and I agree. The new Altima is one of the best, if not the best, in its class.

The only gripe I have is that, while I was driving, a plastic bag got sucked into a component underneath the car and I didn't realize until I parked. There was a burning plastic smell the rest of the time I had the car no matter what I tried to get it out. I even went through a car wash with an underneath wash twice.

Fuel milage is realistically 25 to 27 mpg with a 2.5l

While Hyundai has good value, Honda has reliability, Subaru is great in safety, Ford has good styling, Toyota has good resale value....what does Nissan have? They are just vanilla to me.

Nissan passenger side airbag may or may not work for people weighted 125 lbs or less. This threshold is not found on the car manuals but provided/confirmed by Nissan North America, Nissan Regional Specialist and the Grubbs Nissan dealer in Bedford, TX. Altima buyers should be aware of thresholds of Nissan design vs. their weights.

HanYenAn Nguyen THank you. I bought one today & wasnt aware of that. I weigh 100lbs and had no idea that could affect the safety of airbags in cars.
