Thanks for the video. Other similar videos have poor lighting and skip around. Showing it all In a single clip makes it so much easier. I also went back and fixed the 90 degree on the piston as I was unaware of this before and grateful you mentioned that

I have to say this is one of the best videos for this job that I have come across. The only thing I'd add to it would be to clean the hub where the rotor mounts and the piston of the caliper and the opposite side where the pad sits. Nice job!

When I change the break pads is necessary change the discs?
@Boss-313
@Boss-313 2 ай бұрын
No, you only change discs if they are worn, warped or severely scored. But you do need to change the pads every time you change discs.

Hi How are u ? Did u replace rear new calipers both sides ? Did u bleed all air out from each caliper ? How did u know it stuck?

It smelled and burned a smoke when I tested drive. So I went back and bleed both sides, I only did 1 side. Thank you for your assistance.
Жыл бұрын
you didn't clean the rust out of the bracket and hub, did not unscrew the bleeder nut while pushing the piston, new brakes won't last long...
@Boss-313
@Boss-313 2 ай бұрын
Don’t need to unscrew the bleed nipples! Unless you want to introduce air into the lines? Just take the cap off the master cylinder.
