Sorry for the incredibly LONG video but I've had a lot of people asking me my thoughts on the MK6 models and why my family didn't get the TDI engine so I figured I would cover all of that in this video! Also we still have this car so if anyone has any video requests let me know!

When my cousin was shopping for a Jetta TDI, the salesman encouraged us all to sniff the exhaust pipe while it was running, because apparently, it's perfectly safe. I think he had other intentions

I have a 2007 VW rabbit and when you were talking about it being jumpy at low speeds I thought of my car and it does the same. was really worried about maybe having to go to the dealer and see what's wrong but after seeing this it makes me feel better lol.

My family leased a 2013 Jetta this color but it was the lower trim but it was a really nice car it was beautiful and I easily recommend them even though I do love hondas a lot!

I'm way too late for this, but my European Jetta Mk5 has a trunk release between the incandescent registration lights, unlike whats said in this video. Mine is a 2007 model TDi. Mine also has no emergency trunk release and no locking buttons for the back doors and passenger side. Only the driver can lock the doors. I suppose it varies, but some mk5 Jettas did have trunk releases.

I'd like to hear more about the 2007 Jetta: especially if you have the 5 cylinder model. I'm thinking about buying the 2013 with the 5 cylinder, but I'm having issues finding people who have had years of experience with the engine. What were the repairs done over the years you've had it? How many miles are on it now? Would you buy another one like your 2007?

Muffin Man We've owned 2 cars with that engine for years now and I can honestly say its GREAT. Take care of it and you won't have any issues at all. Easily gets mid to high 30's on the highway, plenty of power and smooth power delivery.

If you still have the car would a 0 to 60 be possible?

BlakesCars2 they get up to 60 in around 8 seconds

The nicest of the new Volkswagens is the Golf SEL. If you get the chance, you should do a review on one.

How do you turn on the fog lights can not figure it out

turn the light switch on then pull towards you to activate fog lights.

27 almost 28 grand for a compact car with no nav, backup camera, and small wheels? What a rip off.

Rex101 You're pretty much paying for the engine at this point and I doubt ANYONE pays sticker for one of these. Also it does include a backup camera.
