Not sure as I've never done the front glass. It's most likely the same other than maybe the trim around the window

The white clips? not sure,i've never taken out the window. You could try to roll up the window half way and use a plastic pry bar to spread the clips open while you pull up the window. Or maybe roll up the window all the way and see if the big clip can be removed somehow.

Did you get to the bottom of it? Regulator has failed in the down position.

@@mikejames4271 window needs to be all the way down, you have to remove the trim pieces and pull out the rubbers on the sides of the window like in de video, hang them to the side. Unbolt the window regulator and you'll be able to pull the window out together with the regulator as one unit

which other edge? the only edge that needed to be removed for the window replacement is the gloss black bottom edge

acfreak Sorry about that, I meant to type ‘bottom’ edge. That’s exactly what I was referring to, the gloss black window trim. How did you manage to remove it & is it possible to do so without tearing down the entire door, as this is the only section I need to replace on mine & don’t fancy stripping the door if avoidable.

acfreak You’re a star, thank you! I’ve looked everywhere for a removal guide for it but no-avail! Do you think with the window fully retracted pulling up would probably be enough? Also, do you think it’s likely to break? 😂 Doesn’t matter too much as it’s being replaced.

@@NickyMabbs np. It should be fine, mine didn't break. The window doesn't get in the way. Maybe try to lift one side first to loosen it up.

Carefully start with one side with a plastic pry tool and work your way over.

it might be "Glass. Pin. Door. Part Number: 8K0845867". You might want to double check

@@mixmeister9985 not sure on the regulator but in the service manual it says to remove the window, then you can remove the regulator. But the window regulator motor can be removed or installed with the motor or door window in any position.

I don't have access to the car anymore but from the manual it says: "The control module with the rear window regulator motor can be removed or installed with the motor or door window in any position." Follow the video to remove all the interior trim pieces. Lastly, remove the connector to the regulator/control module, the 3 bolts holding it and it can removed.

Might be a little hard to push out the center piece but I'm sure it's doable. I think it would be best you hold the outside white piece while you push out the center piece
