If the old Chrysler 200 was discounted at the dollar store, the redesigned one feels like J Crew. Stylish and well-equipped, the 200 aims to appeal to the buyer who doesn't need all of the practicality of a Camry or Accord. Check out www.ConsumerRep... for additional reviews, tips, and recommendations.

“NOT EVERYONE WANTS A ACCORD OR CAMRY , the 200 Is gonna appeal to somebody who wants a 200”. This is true. My friend and I bought a 200 off looks and sound and features. We didn’t even look at a fusion , Camry or accord. Tom got this 100% right. It’s like he called out this car stands alone in the segment before it was even fully on the roads. Now it’s gone because of just that. It’s not a lot of people in this segment like me or my friend. People want boring and what they are familiar with. If they could have made this interior the most spacious in class it would have still been here. I love my 200C.

Just bought one used with 33k on it. All the reviewers saying the post is in their line of sight are way off base. It's totally fine. I can also get in the back seat just fine. The truth is this. Car reviewers need something to talk about. So they fill up their video with stuff the normal consumer would never care about in a million years. We watch it, and think the whole world is ending

I'm 6'3 and I have to say I commute 20 miles one way to work each day. This car is comfortable, compliant, and a car seat fits back there nicely. But for me the selling point was how nice and upscale the interior is. It's quiet and roomy. Just make sure you do run any rims bigger then 17's or road noise sucks the quiet out of the cabin.
@Darkeklaw

I have 18 inch rim on my 200s and it's a very quiet ride. I've had the car three months and it's wonderful. I've only ever owned GM or Dodges. Neon's were a great car once they fixed the headgasket problem.

Driving at low speeds (i.e. stop and go traffic or navigating stop signs) the car can be a little jerky/jumpy when you step on the gas after coming to a stop. It’s similar to being in a vehicle with someone learning to drive stick. Although once you learn how to pedal the gas, you can almost eliminate the jerking. I do like my 200, it has a great look to it, but it wouldn’t be my main choice, especially the base model, if I had a chance to go back.

Now a days i see this car just about every where i believe its exceptionally reliable i mean sure this car is not more reliable then Honda,Toyota but by the price its a really good looking newer style car for hand full of 3 or 4 years i was able to get this car for only 14k still came with factory warranty good luck getting Toyota Camry for 14k on 74k km

I've been looking for a decent car with a V6 and AWD around the $30K mark for a while now, and this seems to be the only car that fits the bill. The only problems I have with this car is that I wish the exterior styling were a little more aggressive, and I'm not sure how I feel about having a turn dial for a shifter. Other than that, I absolutely love everything about this car.

These cars are about as American as the Mitsibishi products that Chrysler used to import and slapped a Chrysler emblem on them. Mopar is long gone except for the trucks.

The 3.2 Liter Pentastar V6 is more appropriate in the 200, with or without AWD, than with the 3.6 Liter Pentastar V6. The 3.6 Liter Pentastar engine is heavy, doesn't make much torque, and negatively affect handling due to engine weight. The body of the car is lighter than the last generation, so putting a bigger displacement engine that the car can't really handle the weight wouldn't make sense.

Chrysler does make some nice cars in regards to look at, comfort and nice interiors. But once again this year Consumer Reports and some other auto publications have Ram, Jeep, Dodge and parent company Fiat at the bottom of reliability lists. Transmission shift roughly, mysterious interior noises that even the dealership couldn't address, brake is making squeaking noise, paint is chipping off here and there. I'm still expecting more problems to come up. Couldn't agree more with your statement there. Stupid me for not listening to my friends before buying that crap. FCA is crap! Everybody builds a great midsize sedan anymore.. It just depends on if you want to be totally anonymous (Accord, Camry, Altima), or if you want to stand out (200, Fusion, Malibu, Optima etc...) Each of these sedans have their strengths and weaknesses, but it comes down to what you, yourself, deem as competitive... Not everybody wants a sedan that blends in. I have yet to meet a dissatisfied 200 owner thus far!

S model, which is fwd is 19/32, while C model which is awd is 18/29 (city/highway). You can find different numbers on internet, however these numbers are official numbers. If you check 2017 models, they offer incredible numbers for 3.6 V6 like 28/38 sounds like over exaggerated to me, because these numbers are as low as civic`s 1.5 litre turbo engine

I agree it doesn't look too bad. However, it looks exactly like a Kia Rio/Optima. Especially in front.

Nothing special about 8 speed transmission, if it doesn't substantially improve fuel economy.

A 2.4L engine should produce substantially more than 184 horsepower.

Not really. If you look at everyone else's 4 cylinder engines without a turbo on it its pretty much inline with HP.

Nope, he has said in another video that he owns a 2011 Dodge Durango. I don't know if he still has that vehicle at this exact moment, but the fact he owned one should refute the idea that he is biased against the Chrysler/Dodge brands.

Yeah, the sky-line of Detroit? That's that bankrupt city where the homeless drug addicts live! Nice touch for a piece of junk crys-ler. You heard what he said, it can not replace the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry for roominess or reliability. The drivetrain is poor too. So much for the amerikan effort!

Yes I agree with ncstate220.. go to www.carcomplaints.com and you will be horrified to see all the complaints that consumers are posting about their own vehicle. By the way that website requires you to enter in the VIN of the vehicle you are talking about so that prevents trolls from just posting bias crap about a vehicle. Personally I love the look of the vehicle but after reading about all the issues I'd be too scared to buy it even with the warranty.

Strange the difference in complaints from 2015 to 2016. I do believe they sold some previous body style 200's(sebrings) as 2015's. But im not sure if that has anything to do with the complaints. I have owned a 2016 for over a year and love it so far.
