2016 GMC Yukon Battery Replacement

Күн бұрынReplaced the battery in my 2016 GMC Yukon XL.
Mine uses the H7 battery, but I was told at the store the H6 would also work, it is just a bit smaller.
Job was fairly straight forward. For changing a battery there were a few extra steps, like removing the brace and loosening the coolant reservoir.
Took about 20-30 minutes to remove old battery and install new one.

Did mine tonight. Was such a pain!!!! Miss the days of just simply pulling terminals, pulling battery, put new battery in and place terminals.

Total pain, but worked great! Thank you. Why do the engineers have to make everything so tedious?

I’m on my way to buy a new battery now. The problem I experienced last night was the alarm going off. Even with both terminals disconnected .
