Just copped a 2016 V6 Touring sedan last week in white. Paid $22K USD with 20K miles on it. Basically feels and look brand new! This particualr year, or the 2017 V6, gets my vote for the best value vehicle out on the road right now. I wouldn't want anything else. Such a sleeper of a car. It's a IYKYK kind of car. I'm in love, and I'll be baby-ing the shit out of it 😂❤

I own this car (though a 2017, same thing) and absolutely love it. It's probably the best looking car I've ever seen and that alone was a major selling point. There are a few downsides in my opinion though. The transmission I'm not a fan of. It shifts at weird times, and downshifts way too quickly. I come from Fords and Chevys so maybe I'm used to something different, but the transmission on this is just too aggressive on the downshifting for me. If you're someone that is used to coasting a lot, you'll hate it. But it is pretty smooth otherwise. My other complaint is the wind noise on the highway. Everyone talks about how quiet the cabin is, but I really don't agree. There is quite a bit of wind noise, and it seems to be a common issue on this car. But probably my least favorite thing about this car is the stereo. Now don't get me wrong, it isn't horrible, but it is absolutely not something you would expect from a $35k car. Sound quality aside which is subpar in my opinion, the built in subwoofer is virtually useless, and the rear decklid will rattle. There are ways around this, I fixed it by stuffing a sock in the back, but it's not something you should have to do to your car. As far as the VCM goes, I'm not a fan. It kicks in for me at about 30-40mph and makes the car vibrate. At first I thought it was the transmission because it seems to go away right after shifting, but I'm pretty sure it is actually the VCM. There are aftermarket devices you can buy to disable the VCM but I believe it will void your warranty. I've considered looking into it, but haven't yet. It does get pretty good gas mileage for the v6, it's rated 35mpg highway. It sounds great, plenty of power. Interior quality is up to par. It's not a luxury vehicle but all the parts are solid and don't feel flimsy. Everyone seems to hate the center console with the two screen setup, but I love it. I display the navigation on the lower screen and control my music from the steering wheel on the upper screen. I find it very useful. The lack of a volume knob sucks, but people seem to forget there are volume buttons on the steering wheel which is what I use, and it's safer/more convenient than even a knob. All-in-all, I love the car. I do think it is a bit over-priced compared to some other options. They purposely kept things out (cooled seats, actually premium audio, etc) and reserved it for Acura, which they pretty much had to because this car looks far better than its equivalent year TLX.

Hey I have the same car a 2017 accord touring V6, I notice the exact same thing of the transmission, sometimes is smooth, but in normal acceleration it shifts very quick into it’s higher gears and it doesn’t do it smoothly at all, and also makes the car feel slow if you want to go fast you really have to push the pedal hard for the car to downshift, I notice the same thing you said while braking when I’m braking from 40mph to 0 the car downshifts very aggressive and it makes the car brake harder and makes you feel like the car is pulling you I don’t like that, I notice the other thing you said that when I’m cruising at 50mph my car has something like a drone or a little vibration and when it up shifts it goes away I though it was the transmission too, about the sound system yes I got the rattle too from the back but I turned off completely the subwoofer and I just use the bass of the speaker and works good 👌🏻

Hi there, I really like it. It had some rattles that was driving me crazy like the one on the sub-woofer and on the passenger seat belt but I got those fixed and now no complaints. The car has a lot features and has great mileage. I just came from a road trip from Toronto to New York City and used little over two tanks of gas. The car on the road was amazing super stable and fast. I'd recommend a test drive you wont regret. I was about to get an Audi (entry model) but I decided to go with the full touring accord.

Had it for about a week now, all I can say is wow. The features are outstanding compared to other cars for the money. It's like driving a limousine. Very good looking luxurious sports sedan. If you need it to be, it's very very fast too(V6-3,5). The drive is so smooth it almost feels like it's swimming.

Just a few things to mention: Do not park your car too close to the curb. The $800 rim will scrap before the tire does. They are 19 inch rims and they stand out far nicer on the touring model. Also placing the transmission in Sport model is great for pick up, but the deceleration is jerky. Don't let that deter you. You just have to remember to switch back to Drive. Ever now and then you might want to let that iron horse loose.

Just got the Touring about a week ago, loving every second in it. The only letdown seems to be the speakers but they aren't bad in any sense. I also got it in white with tinted windows and it looks AMAZING compared to the current Toyotas. The acceleration and handling is almost perfect, although I would've preferred slightly stiffer steering. All in all this is a great car for anyone that wants a midsize sedan, you'll love the LED headlights, I certainly do!

+Raj Patel the FM radio audio is horrible. Audio during apple carplay or usb is acceptable for a 7 speaker system. Little trick to get more out of your sub is to stuff fabric(I used and old towel that I cut up) into the hole around the sub. You have to go through trunk and under the shelf area. I also put some 1/2 in foam tape between the brake light and the rear glass. Put the fader where the setting is about 65% through the rear speeaker and the sub at 100% or max setting. Sound quality greatly improves with that. Now you can really enjoy your car.

I bought mine December 2015. I have 30K miles and it runs beautifully. Lots of power. Just wanted to mention to use the cable your phone came with to connect to the car, not an after market cable. Those will not work. I recently bought the Android 7 edge, along with extra external batteries, which came with black cables. It took a long while to figure why my phone wasn't connecting to Android PLAY. I guess the only real odd things is the traffic information on Honda's screen vs Google Map. Google Map is more accurate. I'm some times sitting in traffic and the car navigation screen says it's clear. Other than that, you couldn't ask for a better car. RELIABLE !!!

Forgot to mention: I got 318, 000 on my 20005 Honda Accord. I almost didn't do anything except change the oil/filter/tires once in a while. Spark plugs once and they didn't need it still. They were clean. OH, timing belt for sure every 120K miles. I bought the 2016 with a huge maintenance package, well worth it.

Not absolutely sure if all new BMW's have a camber on the tires. But if they do, you will get wear on the inside. Don't expect to get normal wear on them. I will say BMW's are great for cornering, which is part of the reason they have that angled camber on the tires. I have a 2010 328i convertible. Sweet, but it spends more time in the shop and sitting in my garage than on the road. Also, go to the dealership and see how many cars are waiting to be serviced. You won't see that many at a Honda dealership. It's a parking lot at BMW.

Am I the only one who can't stand leather seats? I love just about every other feature shown on this particular trim EXCEPT for the leather seats. I just burned the back of my legs the other day on my 2012 Accord's leather seats, and it was only in the lower 80s in May (and with tinted windows). Here in the South it's hot for at least five months of the year, and it would be nice to sit down on a seat that wouldn't grill your behind.

I am currently searching for a new car, and I've been looking at the 2016 maxima, the Honda Accord v6 and the Acura TLX. After test driving all three cars. I'd choose the Honda or the Acura. The maxima feels weird to drive. I'll guess I blame the cvt. So I'm torn between the Honda and the Acura. I really want the AWD on the Acura, but the Honda doesn't. But money wise the Honda is so much better.

I Have a Canadian sport. Basically the touring minus the full leather, navigation, rear heater seats, 1 touch passenger window and some rear dampners(shocks). And of course I don't have the v6, you can get a touring with the 4 but no dual exhaust. For the $3500(4cyl) difference, it just didn't make it worth it. Got my sport with honda sensing(which is standard on the touring) for $29,800cdn. Best bang for the buck in the midsize segment.

+randxvi Canadian trims are so much better! I would get the Sport too. Our Sport has hardly any features and the rims on the other trims are ugly to me. I would be happy with the features of an EX-L here but if I'm going to spend money on aftermarket rims then I can just use the same money and go ahead and get the Touring. I hope to have one within the next 2 weeks!

4 cylinder tourings are pointless in canada. No dual exhaust. The only thing I wish my sport doesn't have that the ex-l and tourings have are power passenger seats. Have had mine for 3 months...love it.
