My mom has a 2016 Honda Accord...I honestly hate it. I do love the overall vehicles response, the legs/head space it has, and the dual climate control. But I'm pretty sure NASA has less buttons then that car, it's far from convenient (I counted over 45 buttons). The front cup holders suck because the middle console lid slightly hovers over it. So you will constantly knock off lids. Nothing like fresh extra hot coffee burning you a$$ in the morning. If you are parked up hill you better hold onto that door cause it will close at the slightest pressure and it is going to come at your legs like a sludge hammer. The AC noise from the unit is also slightly noticeable in the cabin. Older ears won't hear it but younger ears will. There is no trunk release button on the trunk, so you will be fiddling with the keys to open the trunk or you'll have to pull the cabin lever. The dash screen is also pretty cheap looking, it reminds me of the first generation of touch screen phones. Sitting in the drivers seat is comfortable, but the passenger seat is not. I'm 5'10 and it feels like I'm sitting in those elementary school chairs. The windows also don't roll all the way down on any of the windows. It looks like it, but they dont. You'll realize once you go to put you arm out and hit your funny bone or you go to rest your arm and it starts digging into you. I actually called Honda after buying it just to make sure it was normal and yap it's a thing. Then there is also the driver side mirror. It has this horrible "blind spot" flim on it that has a horrible fun house effect, but you do eventually ignore it. Again I'm also 5"10 and it's not easy getting out of it, its very low to the ground (it's earned the name hobbit car) You kind of have to do this little sit up and roll at the same time thing. I ride horses for a living and getting off of them is easier. Also strongly advise installed halogen or LED headlights. Sense it is so low you do lose visibility. Idk maybe I've been spoiled with my Kia SUV. But Honda, especially a Accord is a no for me. Fun to drive for a short time, but I spend most of my time in the car and it definitely wouldn't cut it. But my mom loves the car (except she also hates the cup holders, driver side mirror and no trunk button). Like any car your buying, test drive it and fiddle with everything. What works for one may not work for another.

There is a trunk release button. Its on the right side of the trunk and its a button, just press it. Theres also one in the driver seat on the left side on the bottom, you push it. You can’t really compare a sedan vs an SUV because theyre different styles of car. If you don’t like the infotainment system, you can always instal a new one. Just buy it online and pay a mechanic to install it. You can probably get a better infotainment system since the tech would be newer. I wouldn’t be caught dead in a kia SUV. They had massive recalls for their engines catching fire and metal shards in their engine. The quality is not there. Kia typically give out around 150k or less, hondas can get over 250k or more depending on maintenance. The whole point of cars is transportation. So in that aspect, the accord is far superior.

I have the 2017 Touring, excellent car overall. And yes I have to agree the fuel economy is pretty good considering the amount of power the V6 makes. My biggest complaint is the audio system does not sound premium at all. Mid range and bass leave a lot to be desired. I had a Camry before with the JBL audio system and it sounded a lot better.

Agree completely. I have had my 2016 4D Touring for two years now and am seriously considering upgrading the amp and speakers. I'm not sure if I should spend money on sound-deadening before upgrading the audio, but I think I'll do audio. I totally agree about - specifically - the mids/bass range being lacking. At least if we had mid EQ control, we might be able to compensate a bit, but no luck!

@@YTKiro The mileage sounds a bit high for a 2016 car. Except for the stereo system I think it's a great car. Have a mechanic check it out before you buy it.

I agree 100%. 2016/17 honda accord are by far the best looking! I too have a ‘17 touring currently has 11k miles. I was blessed with a single owner vehicle that was babied by an elder. I love knowing that i have the last year of the v6 with the traditional 6sp trans.!!!! It truly is a beautiful family car!

@@manuelmach86 It is indeed a lot of people tell me anyone who owns one of these are lucky as there are only so much V6’s made not to say 4 Cylinder are bad but a V6 is more preferable for anyone who wants more Pep and it definitely serves Justice.

206k miles on my 2016 Accord Sport since i bought it new. My only complaints are needing a bit more leg room (Im 6'3"). Before my Accord I had a 2006 Toyota Avalon.. That Avalon could not be beat. It had power, comfort, and reliability. Obviously a mich more expensive car when new.

How much was the v6? I bought 2017 touring i4 recently as well. The i4 is also very smooth. I got i4 because of daily commute and belt/water pump cost on v6. The 16/17 accord is a great looking car and a smart buy in 2020.

To answer your question: I brought the V6 Accord in November 2019 for $21500 CAD + tx. Had 62000 KM at time of purchase. No issues since, aside from the burnt daytime running lights, which Honda replaced under warranty.
