Surely it's best for the bodyshop to have the bumper "bare" ....rather than built up, as they've now got to faff about masking it up? Plus, that way there's no sharp lacquer edges, so less chance of it peeling off? Also, as mentioned previously....different colour internals on the headlights? 🤔🧐

Yes your correct steveb9989, it is easier to paint the bumper bare and the other coloured parts as it will cost more to mask up, plus you never primered the wing before putting blue paint on, and you never put the paint adhesion on the bumper for the paint, , I notice no matter how many times people ask you ignore what you paid for the cars, and what they owe you, which makes people believe you are paying to much for the cars, and considering your job was as a lift engineer, ( and I believe you still have the company) it doesn't show you in a good light about your work, AND YES I KNOW A LOT WILL SAY IN OUT OF ORDER, but if you are going to do this work do it properly,
