I have a MY 2019 P300 convertible in Ultra Blue, which is a beautiful and amazing car in so many ways. Every journey is an event, as the car makes you feel so good, and attracts so much positive attention. It has the later 10” widescreen infotainment and 770w Meridian Surround system, and the diamond cut gloss grey Gyrodyne wheels really set off the look. I come back to this review every now and again, as there is so much negativity against the 2.0l on the F-Type forums I need you guys to remind me how good it really is!!! Cheers guys 👍🏻

Love your show. Thank you for reviewing the 2 liter you are one of the few that have. I ended up getting the checkered flag convertible and I am so happy I did. I still think the v6 manual is the best one, but this is for sure interesting. I also agree it's beautiful. When the f-type first came out if was gorgeous and then as they added models they started adding trim and ground effects and just generally monkeying with it. It was still one of the prettiest cars on the road, but this one is stunning precisely because it's gone back to the simplicity of it's design. Love it.

quikgt would be nice... But that's wishful thinking. The car costs 83k. The production cost of this car is probably around the 70k mark. Jaguar is around the 10-15% profit margin. Where as mass produced cars like the honda civic rely on low profit margins and high sales figures to make money. As an example... I belive porsche is the highest in the Industry at around 23-25%

mr V yes it's what the market allows, but your evidently paying for fit, finish & quality with that. A Jaguar is worth what the market allows because it's fit, finish & Quality is held quite high.(despite subpar reliability) If it was overall crap...it would sell for what it does. I also don't know how they got to 83k for this car. I did a build on the Canadian website and got 76k.

SOS Limited Functionality is on due to the battery that powers the SOS Telematics unit low. More than likely because that car hasn't been driven much. Leave the car running for a while and it will charge that battery up... *poof* indicator goes away! Also, that little 50km sign you circled.. that's the speed limit in the area you're driving in. The camera in the windshield recognized a sign you drove by and displayed that there so you know what the speed limit is. I love love love love the F-Type! It's not a Porsche killer by any means, but it's a super respectable sports car. I'd happily drive one every day, if I could! Great job on this vid guys!

@ 0:30 - the V8 was never available with a manual transmission. Jaguar is eliminating it as an option on the V6 next year.

YomiTosh bruh the higher spec model 718 Cayman S is cheaper than this base model Porch equality for 2 grand less, if I’m buying a 4 turbo cylinder I’d get that for sure But unsurprisingly the V6 model of 2015 doubled the price. Even more. Here in Canada the V6 is 110K And the highly coveted GT4 is 140K

8:10 that's the original Jaguar layout. Two analogue gauges and a screen in the middle. On some they now make it fully digital. It's been like that since 2008 (Jaguar XF Debut)

Jaguar consistently make the most desirable cars I would never risk to buy, and would be afraid to lease. It's frustrating, because nothing looks this good on the road, at least south of the Italian car price point. You could forgive it if they were exotics, but they're not, and should be usable as a daily. As always, great review guys!

It's 12 noon here in Sydney. I'm just back from the JAAAAAG dealership where I ordered an MY19 version of this car. I check KZfaq for notifications and...................your review is at the top of my list!!! In Australia you can option carbon fiber to replace all the piano gloss (gross) black inside the cabin, which I did. I also got grey upper (A,B,C pillars and roof lining) interior, panoramic roof and red seat belts and brake calipers. All I need now is the watch and Yuri's old mustache...

I would totally get the 2.0 Turbo (I could never afford any model lol). 300hp is still plenty for an "entry level" trim, and it sounds amazing and obviously has the best mpg.

nice. I like seeing the lower end of high-spec cars. However, will jaguar be successful with the 4cyl? Other than being a fan of Jaguar or british sports cars, who is going to choose this over the other competition in the 2-door, 2-seat realm or possibly, the 2-door 2+2 segment of cars of similar pricing? Would you own this out of warranty?
