@Carfacts the way it seems in the video it showcases the difference in the flex fuel kit against a tuned no flex fuel kit with a type r turbo swap, and in the beginning it shows the 2 together flex and turbo swap. this shows the first mod if available should be the flex fuel tune on the stock set up. if available in your area.

@@krismenon8071 torque is what kills rods, not so much horsepower. Tuners tend move the torque curve higher in the power band, especially on vehicles that make peak torque at lower rpms. On vehicles like the accord or civic 1.5t where they have thin rods but make decent torque down low, it's always beneficial limit tq output or move that power curve upwards

I do agree with you but to me torque is everything. If I could have bought a Tesla I would have. I only want to know that I can get from 0 to 80 very quickly I don't need all that top speed horsepower.

mrspencer72 The Civic Type R has that problem but mid to top end it takes off. Good point about saving the drivetrain that way. Does the tune take away that terrible speed limiter on the Accord?

These motors run an electronic waste gate, to upgrade to different style turbo you’d need to change a couple more things vs just slapping the turbo on. Check out PRL’s big turbo kit, they explain what other things need to be modified in order to run a bigger turbo. Also, PRL’s big turb kit isn’t cheap.

Bradly Saucedo turbo kits aren't cheap in general but for the price of oem parts you can get something better for the same money if not a little more.

You would have to ask your dealership that question, they would be able to let you know what would void your warranty.

I have a 10at with bolt ons and a tune and running consistent 5 second 0-60! So most definitely expect a quicker time out of this setup (limited by traction). Pretty amazing for a front wheel drive 2 litre. Cheers!

@@JJ-yu yea it's crazy the amount of capabilities Turbo car's have, with basic mods you can shave off half a second on 0-60. I went from 4.6sec to 4.0 with just an ECU tune and Downpipes, still running Map1 too. I can't wait to see what an intake and E85 puts me at

Most cars don't use rubber lines anymore, they're plastic and steel.

Like Corie said, modern cars use fuel lines that are capable of handling ethanol fuels. With kits like the one offered from SiriMoto, the hose assemblies are made of hose that is compatible with E85.

No pump gas is 93 octane maximum e85 is closer to 110 octane big difference

We recommend the Flex fuel kit.

Why not look somewhere else

You can technically run anything from straight pump 93 to E85, but the best performance for this platform comes from a 30% ethanol blend

ModernArc I think the tail lights would be fine if they didn’t protrude onto the trunk. Seems like an easy fix that they have done many times before in the past.

Rodolfo Munoz - Yes, they kept the V6 for Acura. Acura’s will have roughly 350HP minimum when released. Premium North American brand that will now fully be different than it’s North American Honda counterpart. Remember that in its inception the TL was the top selling car for Acura until the design went “South” in 2009 and was eventually removed from being competitive to the BMW 3 series. In the meantime I’m sure you’ll see plenty of videos of “Sleeper” Accords taking down unsuspecting drivers.

I doubt 350 it’ll prob be more closer to the j37 out already which is only 300 😂......... honestly the 2.0t is a much better platform will have much much more companies making a million things for them an prob cheaper the v6 is already obsolete ........and I’m sure it’ll be a special option to have the v6.......all the North American company stuff was pretty irrelevant since Acura only exists in North America was all unnecessary

Heard this was the lowest geared H series tranny is it worth keeping or still going to a b series. I looked at gearing and it's not much different from most b series outside of final drive. Do you think I could cut low 13s with this setup all motor on slicks? Also how much power can I put to the wheels I have the manual version of the motor. (I have an 18 type R which is what brought me to this video)
