I just got the 2019 Cherokee Latitude Plus, white with black rims, a week ago. It was leased by an older couple that returned it early cuz they had trouble getting in and out. I absolutely love every single thing about this vehicle. My first ever Jeep and couldn’t be happier. With a special needs 4 year old daughter and living in southwest PA that travels a lot to Pittsburgh, we wanted something safe and snow worthy and honestly can’t wait for the first snow fall 😬. Obviously needed power for the hilly terrain but also good gas mileage and the 3.2L does this perfectly. A beauty to drive and a beauty to look at.

I love my 2020 Cherokee, however, the greatest Cherokee ever is the one that saved the Jeep brand as a whole, the 1984 Jeep Cherokee XJ.

They have a stalling problem that both the dealerships and jeep won’t fix. They only claim to. I’ve had mine for over a year and I’m scheduling another appointment to “fix” the issue.

the jeep cherokees engine shuts off when it's stopped n takes 2secs to start back up try a different jeep model

Or you can try pressing the button to turn the feature off.

yes the jeep cherokee does have the engine shut off when coming to a stop feature that can easily be turned off with the push of a button, thats not what i am talking about. the engine has shut down on me entirely in the middle of the road. you can go ahead and search up this same problem as other owners have gone through it and no one seems to have gotten it fixed. my dealership told me they might end up replacing the whole engine.

2.0 4 cylinder is more powerful than the 3.2 v6 with slightly less towing capacity

Nancy Noel barely. It’s not worth the extra cost and premium gasoline to get the 2.0

@@fallguy4209 I get almost 30 mpg on my 2020 Altitude 2.0 Turbo and it's noticeably quicker off the line than my previous Cherokee with the 3.2 which I never could get more than 25mpg at best. Plus I've never run on premium fuel with the new one.
