ABOUT PAPADAKIS RACING:
The Papadakis Racing team began drifting in 2004 and is the most winning team in Formula Drift history, earning the 2015 title with driver Fredric Aasbo, as well as backto back championship titles with driver Tanner Foust in 2007 and 2008. The Rockstar Energy Drink / Nexen Tire Toyota Corolla Hatchback is the latest competition build from the Hawthorne, California, based team.
Team owner Stephan Papadakis is a legend of sport compact racing who began building his reputation in the 1990s with the first front-wheel drive, tube-chassis drag car in the U.S. The team earned multiple records and championships in the discipline, turning in elapsed times and trap speeds previously thought unattainable in front-drive drag cars. Papadakis' successes in front-wheel drive were matched by his efforts in rear-wheel drive when he campaigned a Honda Civic that became just the fifth car to join the NHRA's Sport Compact 200 MPH club

Race car? Not really as it is not designed to be the fastest car in a timed event. Exhibition car, yes. It is all about going slow for show.

The great irony of this channel is that you wish these videos were 3X longer because they are so concise where, on the other hand, you wish most videos on youtube were 3X shorter because it's just so much fluff. I've heard the saying 'Don't call my guns millitary grade, they're much nicer than that.' IIRC what you want is Industrial spec, as that's made to be reliable fixable etc.

Apart from the fact that this guy and his team build beautiful machines, that I am in love with the new supra, that both these things are mixed together...I love that I can sit at home and easily follow along with his commentary and still get useful tips from a 1000hp FD Supra build like the washer tabs. I am certainly going to be using those tabs on my trashy E30 1UZ build. I am grateful for your videos and good luck to both the team and Aasbø for the coming season. A wave from South Africa!

This it the most "no bull" channel on YT. The info i get here in 8 minutes, i'd have to watch 5 hours in other "car youtuber" channels..... Thank you Stephan and greetings from Greece

I want to speed ahead to the dyno portion like I would for many other videos on other channels but I dont want to miss a thing here. Its calming and worth it.
