The 2021 Aston Martin Vantage review. The main thing you should know about the Aston Martin Vantage is that it is a great daily! It truly is! Although its engine comes from the AMG GTs, I am glad to report that Aston Martin managed to retain the main traits of the first generation V8 Vantage, that has set it as the benchmark of the sports cars market. The exhaust sounds burbly but elegant, the whole car is mature and lets you utilize all of its rear wheel drive performance (acceleration, cornering) without being scared for your life. It’s a great GT cruiser that is quickly becoming a great proposal on the used market if you decide not to go with the new. Oh, and just in case you are all about the track, you can of course opt for the Aston Martin Vantage AMR, with its dog leg gearbox, stiff everything and weight saving.
This then is my review of the new Aston Martin Vantage, where I compare it to AMG GTs that as you remember I used to own. Is it a better car? Is it a good investment? Let’s find out!

I love all the 3 tbh. The Huracan is not really a daily .. like at all no boot space quite small in the inside. M8 is amazing however not really a sports/super car so I think the vantage that provides quite everything :)

@@sman96490 yes, I’ve had 6 Jaguars and liked them all. My Mercedes experiences were boring. It was time for something different that was not so common so I chose the Vantage.

How does it compare to the dbs superleggera? Which one do you prefer? What’s the better daily driver?

I think they are quite different cars also the price tag difference is quite significant... I think that in terms of « daily » of course it’s the vantage. However nothing beats the V12 😉 If budget wouldn’t be a question I would go for the DBS, I think it’s one of the most stunning car designs out there today.

Nice film and very well presented thank you. Just wanted to take up your comments on (6.25) there not been many cars that "fill this perfect gap". What about the 911? I was lucky enough to choose between them. I decided the 911 was the better choice. The AM has more flair and the sound is another league, but come to a good road and the AM won't know which way the 911 went. AM is still a fantastic car but it's no the best daily sports car. That honour firmly rests with the 911.

But arent carbon ceramic brakes worse than iron brakes for daily driving, since carbon ceramic requires high temperatures to work? If you drive on a track 80% of the time sure carbon ceramic is unbeatable, but its just pain if you try to use carbon ceramic in normal driving since they have no stopping power when cold.

It might have alot if Mercedes parts. But it's designed, built, and turned by Aston Martin so it feels like one. This isn't another situation like the BMW that looks like an A90 Supra.

Exterior design is fantastic, but for something like Aston Martin that used amg engine and outdated Mercedes infotainment system is just a NO NO, I’d rather buy an actually Mercedes amg for less money

The B&O sound system is not available for the current "mercedes" vantage, only for the previous version v8v 4.7, v12v and v12v s, meaning the non amg engines. I hope this may add quality information to your channel. B. Regards.

i have a GTR now and had a GTS edition 1 prior, they are way sharper way more rigid chassis sports car experiences than this Vantage that I drove which felt way softer and more refined in every way... diff strokes
