My fault @@David-qp8xm, I mean "pre season" Imola test/100km with new 2022 cars. Not everybody will test in Spain, Ferrari will do it at the Fiorano, Alpha Tauri at Imola, Mercedes/Mclaren at Silverstone e.t.c. Then all together they'll do official tests at Bahrain.

Maybe its the loop hole which will allow you to use and old car to simulate the new car without utilizing time allotted for testing.

To give them some practice in an f1 car again after winter break so they can start actual testing straight away with programmes etc

Old car with old wheels, not old video! Believe it or not, I was at Imola recording Yuki three days ago. They can't use the 2022 cars before the premiere. The official pre-season testing with the new cars will be in Barcelona and Bahrain.

It was his first season lol, man is from 2000. Just because others were kicked out of RB doesn't mean they have to do that to everyone, they are not that stupid as you think. If you have a bit of brains and you know under what circumstances other drivers made their debut in recent years, you will not compare them. Have you forgotten what Gasly was doing when he was in RB 2019? He got a second chance and watch what he does now. I don't know if you saw, but Tsunoda almost landed on the podium in the last race. You have to be an idiot to kick out a driver who is making a good progress. Besides, there was nobody better in F2. So no topic.

We all now he is there because Honda wants a Japanese driver and nothing more, I hope he grows in confidence and skills yes because if not they are going to kick his ass off and that ain't good for the mind or spirit of anyone.

@@jmq1984 Gasly won the race, but you probably remember the circumstances +he was not a rookie. So what is this comparison? The truth is that Tsunoda showed more on his way to 4th place than Gasly did when he won, but hardly anyone noticed because the main show was between other drivers. Saying that Honda only wanted him, follow his results in the junior series and think how ,,promising" Kvyat was. If any other driver had a season like Tsunoda in F2, no one would have a problem with him being in F1, but for many people, anybody from Japan, competing in motorsport = Honda. Life would be very simple if people had that reasoning and interpreted things like that, but it is not.

P3 in a Carlin car in F2 just 15 points ahead of Mick the champion in Prema. That’s mega impressive and it was his 2 year in Europe.
