I think the Apple CarPlay/Android auto is wireless on this vehicle. It’s standard on Hybrid trims.

Mike and others. I went to the dealer. Pushy sales guy barely told me what I started to ask. I had owned an Accord loaded leather w roof 20!years ago but we all know Everything has changed. I’m looking for power options, selections currently available. Sales guy really was no help and annoying . SaLes guy got his own agenda and started telling me about the Civic what he didn’t realize is a female friend with two 20-22 y old kids had purchased one for daughter as a co-signer same with her son but(!) bothbCivics we’re new but had tons of problems including random stops on freeways and highways. Junk lemons ! They hope to enforce the lemon laws and rewind the purchases on both Civics. People need a heads up on such issues of critical importance ; especially considering safety as well as major expense matters. Thanks Mike for doing these videos and please squeeze in many engine and interior 😅 details with those cool photos -the slick lighting ohotos of dash at night, too !

I appreciate your attention to detail and discussion of such things as seals, keyfobs (and how to unlock if keyfob battery is dead), fuel doors, and how the vehicle locks/unlocks. I bought this exact vehicle 5/19/2023. Mine has a few exterior extras like body side moldings, splash guards, door edge guards, which are not only aesthetically appealing but purposeful. After owning and driving a Ford Expedition for 17yrs the thought of buying such a low sitting vehicle made me cringe, but I’m more than happy with this purchase👍🏾👍🏾 Thanks for the upload. For this price, its should at least have rear A/C vent! People buy Accord sedan because they often carry people in the rear and value the big legroom, yet Honda don't even bother to offer A/C vents back there? Big mistake.

Previous models starting from the ex model came with the rear vent. My 2.0 came with rear vents and also the charging ports I. The back.

Rear view camera placement was never centered on the 10th gen and worked great for me.

Gotta say this a fantastic review!! I just got this exact car with exact trim and color! Literally an exact breakdown of my car. I agree with everything you said about it. The worst part is the reverse camera. It’s not very accurate with the lines because it’s not in the middle like previous generation. I turned in my 2018 Honda accord sport 1.5 T manual. And I got this exact 2023 Honda accord sport hybrid in the white. I was a little unsure in the beginning because I really like my manual transmission. But since 2018 I got married and now I have a family and my wife does not know how to drive stick shift so it was important for her to be able to use both cars so I changed it for this exact one. I like it so far. I’m still not exactly sure how to use the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. I don’t know if it’s worth using them on a daily basis or only when going downhill. I don’t know if it helps with saving battery energy or is it just forcing the motor to work more? so I really need to research that. Another thing that I missed in my 2018 accord was that when you lift up the center consul they had a little small container where you can put coins and little things. I actually like that I wish this one had it to. It’s nice that you don’t have to take out the key to open the door so the sensors on the doors are nice. Great review!

Hey so I had the same question regarding the paddle shifters and turns out it’s just to adjust the deceleration of speed when the vehicle is slowing down, “downshifting” causes it to slow down quicker and you get more battery charge. That’s all lol

I went to dealer, yesterday, just to look at the Accord. They had the EX and Touring models. The EX is full of hard plastics and overall a very, very cheap interior, big cabin with no rear vents. For 32k, I’d buy a used Lexus, or a TLX. The starting price for the Accord should be 25k. Other than its “reliability”, it’s not worth it. Just my opinion.

I know it’s an economy car but it sure as hell don’t have to look like it. The last model was the best looking model hands down. Also, why is the price not lower? It’s less horsepower. Definitely a fleet car for taxis and rentals.

Charge level doesn't effect power when I drive. It goes either way. Usually when you give the pedal some serious gas it switches over to gas primarily

Great review, Mike. Your attention to detail is stellar. So why is this car called a "Sport"? There is nothing sporty about it. Been waiting for the new Accord to potentially purchase. My past four vehicles have been Hondas, three Accords and a CR-V. This latest Accord does nothing for me...dull, looks ten years old already, interior looks cheap, not enough power. My next car will be something else. Way to go Honda, some other carmaker will get my money. This new Accord will continue to lose market share to competitors, deservedly so.

@@Rip84LW yes, I know. The local dealer checked about a month ago, the closest 2.0T Sport was in North Texas, 600 miles away. Touring 2.0T aren't around either. The Camry is easy to come by, and in the two color choices I prefer. The 2.0T is only one tenth of a second faster 0-60 from reviews I've seen. The Kia Stinger is available here, but I don't care for the dealer---at all. Likely a Camry XSE V6 it will be.

It needs fog lights and the infotainment system needs to be put back in the dash like the 2017 model. That's been the best display Hondas put out.

Actually Honda the Sport Hybrid has Wireless Apple CarPlay. The only two trims that do not have it are: EX and LX. The car actually says it. "Connect a phone to the USB port of pair it over Bluetooth to start CarPlay. So it is Wireless Apple CarPlay

Thank you for the very detailed review. How does Honda cool the hybrid battery? Cabin air? Are there vent(s) near the back seat with air filter(s) to keep dog hair/ lint out? Toyota does.

The charge level will never affect power, unless the battery is bad. This is a hybrid, there will always be enough battery charge to offer full power at all times, no exception. There's no transmission but two electric motors that are responsible to move the car most of the time. Sometimes the engine will engage to move the tires too. So many combinations with this hybrid generation.

My 2019 1.5 Sport has leather trimmed seats. Now you have to go up several trims to get that. Yikes!

looks like on the lower trims the turn signal doesn't go all the way to the inner trunk. I've only seen it on the Touring, not even the Sport-L.

The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these glaring deficiencies will be resolved.

Rented one for a week. I like everything about it, but the seat bottoms are an absolute no-go. They angle down towards the seat back, then they level off so that your tailbone feels pressure. Very thin padding where your tailbone rests as well. Extremely oddly designed seats, unfortunately @37:59

Rental fleet looking car, the white looks bland not sure what Honda was shooting for!! but they missed badly. Geez Honda couldn't do a better job with the mat under the driver side dashboard? it looks cheap and unfinished they could use a bit more of the black material to bring the padding up further. 👎
