Do the 250/300 XCW & TE bikes have more power than their racing XC & TX counterparts? When it comes to bottom end and mid-range power, the answer is yes. The reason has to do with the port timing. While the heights of the cylinders are the same, on the 2024 250/300, the transfer port timing is lower, and the exhaust port timing is also lower.....which favors bottom end to mid range.
