All great points. It seems as if Jeep is trying to get more luxurious as of late. A 2024 Grand Cherokee 4Xe that I just drove, also had a passenger screen for Netflix, etc. Stellantis gets a lot of hate, which is mostly well deserved. But they seem to really be trying something completely new, which is commendable. I don’t wish failure on any company, so I hope they can get it figured out. Wait 5-10Yrs and you’ll be able to get these for under $50k.

There is definitely a market for expensive luxury Large SUV’s. The Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and the Infiniti QX80 just to name a few. These have ruled the market for years, and now Jeep wants a part of the action. Not to mention all the non-luxury Luxury SUV’s such as the Yukon, Tahoe, Expedition that are also very expensive for the average buyer, yet you see them all over. There are many people who are able, and willing to spend $100K on a car.

@@Jet_Auto lol yes I am aware of the existence of the escalade and navigator, and i know that there are dumbasses out there that will spend that money to own (or more likely lease) them. But you are implying that they are worth that price tag and they just arnt. If someone wants to blow money on a status symbol, then have at it. Im just clueing you in on the fact that they are not "worth" the msrp, let alone the mark ups. No vehicle is worth what people are charging right now, thats why there are lots full of brand new 2023 vehicles. But hey man, u go ahead and throw money at massaging seats, infrared night vision, adjustable height, traction control for every ground condition, just so you can drive around Hollywood and feel good about your peepee.
