The run block grades across our whole o-line last year were: 58 (Cross), 49 (Tomlinson), 50 (Olu), 58 (Bradford), 58 (Lucas). Fant was 51 and Haynes is obviously unknown. That could be the worst run-blocking starting offensive line ever assembled. If K9 pulls your numbers behind our o-line, he should win the MVP award.

Sure but it would be extremely weird if Cross, Lucas, and Olu didn't significantly improve from their 2023 play.

@@SeahawksBrendonNelson I would say that we would hope it improves. Charles Cross actually dipped a little from year 1 to year 2 (62 to 58). Abe Lucas took a dip too (65 to 58), and he may be playing on one decent knee going forward. I mean nobody should be shocked if we have the worst run blocking line in the NFL this year. Having K9 helps mediate that a little, because he's good at making something out of nothing.

Brendon just curious. Have you seen PFF positions groups ranking? I just wanna know your thoughts on them in my opinion they did the Seahawks dirty in some of them.

Respectfully, Brennen, you messed up when you said he’s not gonna get the block and he needs. He doesn’t need good blocking. He’s never had good blocking. He needs OK to go off.

I think KM will get more carries. His college highlight film was more impressive than Charbo imo. Mainly because Charbo ran through so many huge holes and made some magic down the field. While Macintosh made magic happen around the line of scrimage. With our line that makes KM > ZC.

I think the front office would be really disappointed with this result. I think Char gets more yards than 461, honestly and I believe Laviska gets rushing yards too

Not sure why folks think shenault is a weapon. He's averaged 1 carry a game for 5 yards his whole career.

Chenault will be a weapon on receptions and kickoffs....unlikely to get rushing yards over the 5 rbs on the roster that are better weapons from the backfield....

@iron_bison He just strikes me as one of those backs that has a low ceiling. Good for 4 yards and not much else. Was expecting him to at least make a dent in K9's workload as a second rounder.

@TheEliteFox I can see that. I think he'll end up with a pretty solid career. Mixed metaphor incoming but k9 is a Homerun threat but he needs 15+ pitches to get that. Hard for any other RB to get snaps when we all want k9 to hit that big play.

@iron_bison perfectly said.! We keep running and running k9 just so he can break the big play. Think we need to use charbonet more to open more spaces for him.
