Why didn’t you mention range and efficiency? It is a very significant difference…

That’s a valid question, and I thought someone would ask me that. The reason I only mentioned it in the conclusion of the video is because people will compare figure A with figure B by looking on the website, regardless. I didn’t really want to waste precious viewing time waffling about range. My comparison focus was on vehicle application and features. Potential determining factors on the buying decision that aren’t well documented on the website, together with some owner analysis ⚡️

I took the model Y because of the point of sale tax savings it brings down to the price of the model 3

Yeah this is pretty wild if you’re based in the USA. Our buying incentives were stripped like 2/3 years ago. So use it before its gone I guess!

A Tesla advisor told me that new model 3 long range has the hepa filter 😮

🤔 Could well be a recent change. But the Model 3 manual doesn’t advise to change any Hepa filters for the Model 3 like it does with the Model Y. So the guidance says otherwise. However, Tesla is known for making changes frequently so it could well be a new addition, but I’d ask the advisor that question before hand for clarity. I hope its true 🤞

The answer is to wait for the model y refresh in 2025.

Absolutely, the new refresh features are a real driver of demand for the new model 3. But if you need versatility and space. The Model Y is still a great buy, with all its features today.

Model 3 has HW4. MODEL Y in UK is still HW3.

You maybe referring to current inventory for Model Y. Was announced on Tesla’s Weibo account that all Model Ys being built in China are HW4. HW4 has reportedly been certified in Giga Berlin to.
