London Fire Brigade Incident Report
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters are tackled a fire at a commercial and retail building on Leadenhall Street in City of London.
A small amount of insulation behind a ventilation grill was alight.
The Brigade was called at 1212 and the fire was under control by 1341.
Crews from Shadwell, Dockhead, Bethnal Green and Old Kent Road fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Note
Although reported as a 4 Fire Engine Attendance, additional assets responded which included a 64m Turntable Ladder (Not Used) and a Fire Rescue Unit.
Also of note on an adjacent high rise building a charity abseiling event was being carried out, which a number of onlookers mistook as being incident related.
