My first bivouac/wild camping in the snow this winter. Actually I expected -8°C or a bit less during the night but sadly it only dropped down to -5°C. Maybe I can break my temperature record this winter (-6°C). I am looking forward to it.
I've found some fresh tracks of a big dog or a wolf in the snow. It ran down the mountain across a road. There I made the first human tracks in the snow and I didn't see another wolf/dog footprint going uphill. So it seems unlikely to me that this was a dog... but I don't know. If you have more experience with animal tracks, please write your guess in the comments.
