We are making progress on this 2jz Crown Great Wall Frankenstein build focusing on the gearbox and tunnel area today, as Benny explains how to calculate exactly how to make sure the 'Xtreme' clutch will work perfectly with no drag or other potential issues (like which bolts to tighten in order not to loose your legs etc).

Awww Bennny even has "X 'gon give it to ya" confused. It's the beginning to a DMX song of the same name from the late 90's/ early 00's. It was also more recently popularized in the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movies.

All I know is that I am thankful I’m not judged by hundreds of thousands/millions of people regarding cultural references from another country, regardless of which country is being discussed. Twix is made by "Mars" not only am I an American, but my Grandfather worked at the Hershey Factory before I was born. In 2008 Hershey's changed their formula, and yes, it absolutely sucks.

Hershey chocolate is made with sugar beets or corn syrup, but ours is made with sugar cane so it's sweeter. I agree, I don't like US chocolate. It tastes bitter. P.s. I think brake cleaner will kill us before organic clutch linings. P.s.s Before the internet, almost no one used torque wrenches.

Benny when welding in the car get a plastic take out container and put a hole in it the size of your mig torch hold the container over where you are going to weld put the torch in the hole and weld the sparks will get caught in the container and not bounce around in the car and burn any interior or pit the glass but use a fire blanket as well. Have you found the cause of the no oil pressure in the LS yet cheers glenn

every jz clutch i do i throw the pressure plate and friction discs on the input shaft and install the box and then thru the inspection covers on the lower sides of the bell housing dp it all up

Whilst I am more than comfortable with engines I am totally lost with gearboxes, clutches and automatic transmissions. I did change a manual clutch on a Torana XU once. That was pretty easy. Everything after that = hard.

Those snap on swivel sockets are gold. $90 - $130 each though. I got 10, expensive little socket rail that one…

@@BennysCustomWorks yeah I’ve been buying them individually since the mid 2000’s to suit the different mechanical industries I’ve moved through. Kinchrome used to do a set but they were a bit bulky which sort of defeats the purpose for trans/box work.

The wheels that Mad Mike had on Madbul early on in that car’s development. They looks similar to Lowenhart LDR but they were a JDM brand. That would give off a similar look to Centerlines. Or you go Western Syd spec and just get some Simmons 😂
