Another awesome video. While I typically don't ware custom fit shirts, it's nice knowing I have options if I ever move in that direction. What do you use in your hair so that it doesn't move at all? LOVE the signing at the end....you have a voice you know that?

UnTuckd has large brick and mortar stores all around. You can walk in and have a field day trying everything on and seeing/feeling items in person. I'm happy to pay a little extra for this experience.

Ask them in store for their 20-30% new customer discounts and they’ll usually do a solid. Their shirts are definitely higher quality than the other racks - buttons, stitching, fit and the details.

Is a MTM the best route to go no matter what? I'm a little uh... thicker... at 6" and 265 with a steady heavy lifting routine. What are some resources you'd recommend?

I gotta hand it to Chris Riccobono for taking what's been around overseas for years and making it an American brand. India has so many tailors catering to highly fashion conscious people. Although big box and other retail outlets have tons of ready made shirts, custom tailored fits have been the norm with everyone from Bollywood to the street. Cheers!

Great video. I'll have to try ratio. I've been using deo veritas. Amazing shirts. Excellent fit. The q sizing system is amazing.

Seppi, great to hear... I'm thinking of buying from them Proper Cloth and Ratio also. Have you tried either of those two? How does deo compare?

I've tried neither. I want to try ratio. However Deo is really good quality. Many options and great customer service. When i made my untucked shirt to short they emailed me and mentioned it might be better an inch longer, thus catching my mistake.

Brian Emery One more point I forgot was they have many options of fabrics. I got a bamboo dress a shirt I am really loving. You can also pick between 2 different types of collars. Sowed or glued. They explained the difference on the site.

You and I have a similar build. I use the Large Slim tall from untuckit. For some reason way less to choose from in that exact size, but yuo should look into the "tall version. Your shirts look a little short in the length. If you lift your hands up your going to see your stomach.

You keep praising Bonobos, but everything I've ordered from them pills or is made out of gawd awful thin fabric. The polos I bought from them were so dang thin, they developed holes after one wash in cold water, on the delicate cycle, and air drying them flat. They were fantastic in terms of customer service--they replaced the shirts. BUT with more of the same thin-fabric polos. The waffle Henley's I got fit wonderfully, but the arms are pilling. Nothing like a frumpy Dumpty looking shirt after two wearings.

I got one of their grey henleys that 100% pima cotton and it still hasnt had any issues. Still in good condition. Suit supply is always another option but im happy with bonobos so far.

I have to agree. I like some bonobos stuff and the fit is nice, but I also have an untuckit shirt and I find the quality similar but bonobos is way more expensive. Bonobos polos are thin and cheap.

Blue Gym - I get better quality basics (OCBDs, polos, chinos, tees) from Uniqlo. Like Untuckit, Bonobos is highly overrated

Untucked shirts that are tailored to your build look decent on you. But in my opinion, a tucked-in shirt looks even better. And if I was built as trim as you, I'd always be tucking in my shirts.

Those untucked shirts look short. He's a tall guy and I'm not sure were his waist is but they look too short. The blue plaid seem short. The Deo Veritas shirt is about right, some would say its an inch to long?

cracker20 the blue plaid is the perfect length for an untucked casual shirt (mid crotch), don’t want it too long or else it won’t look good.

I ordered 4 of their Untuckables and I’m afraid it didn’t go well. The shirts were too long to be worn untucked. The length fell below the crotch line. Also I wasn’t impressed with their fabrics considering the price points.

Looking at the mtm shirts the shoulder fitting is very poor for you. Pulls at the top button on two shirts and the shoulder at the back doesn't fit you properly.

Why don't regular brands just make shorter shirts? I mean isn't that their schtick? The only problem I have with a regular brand like Michael kors, nautica, Polo or Banana Republic is that they are too long in the torso.

Man I'm sick of those Untuckit commercials! Hopefully, I'm not the only one! Checked out Deo Veritas and Ratio ... is there an advantage to one over the other or are they basically the same?

Ratio is Made in the USA and I like their flannel fabric more

I live in Canada so being "made in the USA" is not exactly a strong selling point. Any differences from a quality standpoint? Also, is Proper Cloth in the same class (better or worse)? Great review by the way ;)

I'm going back and forth on Ratio and Proper Cloth. Just received a shirt from proper cloth and am in the process of getting the measurements dialed in. Thinking about giving ratio and try as well
