In this video I will showcase 3 of my favourite CHEAP M4 builds catered to your level and trader access. The 3 builds in question are:
1. The Low Level Build, requiring only LEVEL 2 TRADERS at max.
2. The Budget Option, for people who’ve just got access to the flea, or are tight on cash.
3. The Mid-Max Build (my personal favourite).
I’ll also show you some small variations of these builds if you got some extra cash laying around too. As with all of these builds I highly suggest that you change things out here and there to match your preference. These M4 loadouts truly have the ability to carry you out of the early game and propel you into that mid tier cash stack. The reason I feel M4 is such a good weapon to progress with is because of its fast fire rate and great stats off the shelf. You only need a few attachments to turn these budget builds into a scary competitor against the veterans using their 'meta' recoil weapons.

As for which optics to put on these builds, Jaeger level 2 has some longer range scopes which is what I usually use, not only are they my favourite but they're very accessible early on (Monstrum Compact prism scope 2x32 & Burris FullField TAC 30 1-4x24 riflescope). Examples of these being used are shown in this video.

I dont intend on using these builds but I just appreciate that this is a 2 minute video and not a 15 minute one talking for hours about each attachment of the gun as if it mattered

haha honestly, thats my main gripe with a lot of the tarkov build videos I see on KZfaq. I know people don't care about seeing clips afterwards or in-depth rambling about each and every attachment. People want to know the price, the attachments, where to get them and what stats to expect. I don't want to waste peoples time, y'all got business to attend to. Expect to see more quick and informative build videos in the future, all and any suggestions are welcome.

+ since the TX-15's upper receiver is very cheap at the flea(9k~12k), you can swap it out to squeeze a little bit more of the recoil.

Great video as always! I haven't tried M4s out yet, currently using AK-74N budget build with 2-level traders (before flee market and withou L2 Mechanic) which yields 63 vertical recoil and 60 ergo, it goes along with an easy early AK-74N craft which gives me abundance of 5.45x39 BP ammo and can be repeated almost infinitely (you can buy AKM/VPO from Jaeger for 32K, then turn it into 2 weapon parts (you can strip the gun, the craft only requires AKM to have gas tube, foregrip and a handle); AK-74N craft requires 1 weapon part and wooden stock and grip (can be found on various AKs pretty early on), strip the wooden stock and the wooden foregrip from the crafted AK-74N to repeat crafts, remove mags and unload BP ammo, sell the gun or use for builds).

Very nice. I've got 5 M4's in my stash I barely use. 855A1 is floating around the 1,600/1,700 rub per bullet at the moment making it quite expensive to run every raid. 856A1 is obviously much cheaper and craftable but I find it really lacks any punch vs class 5 armour so you've really got to get your positioning spot on because the ammo won't make up for any mistakes.

For budget suppressors I like to run the Surfire suppressors, giving a noticable better recoil stat for about the same price (~5k +/- depending on the current market prices)

Thanks for the build. I was looking for this since I don't have access to the flea market yet. On the first build (55k) you mentionned Mechanic L2. Actually, you can't have it without being lv20 thus, having the flea market. So for the first build without flea market or being 20. I have to replace both mounts: M-lok 4.1 and the 2.5. Any replacement possible from Peackeeper or Skier L2 or Prapor ??

The problem which I got early wipe with the m4 is the ammo short availability. Got a bunch of m4s,416,,556mdr laying around but only 130 shots 5a1 and 60 6a1. And the times of 855 is over 😅

Just saying, I've got max-level traders so I swapped out the gas block and buffer tube and dropped the recoil down to 44 for about 15k more without the new suppressor. 10/10 for the build

@@2Lew I was saying the tx-15 frame and then a m4 Lowe from mechanic it's a cheap way to get a good barrel handguard stock and plus the charging handle is one of the better ones

This gives you really low recoil for the same price as a tx-15 on the market which usually floats around 90-110k on the flea. all you have to do is buy the m4a1lower receiver from mechanic and swap all the parts to the m4

Idk if you’re looking for an answer, but there are a few things that can destroy your ergo. This wipe suppressors take away a lot of ergonomics, as well as long barrels and bulky stocks. This is just to balance out the massive recoil reductions they give. If you’re using extended magazines those also take away a lot of ergo as well. Shelling out some extra cash to buy things such as shift grips, gral grips, and miscellaneous things like charging handles can give you better ergo.

Best budget setup IMO, and if your accurate enough... vpo-366tkm with 366 ap. About 500 roubles a shot on flea market. Ran into interchange with a trash bag rig and a shattered mask. Dropped 4 players killed killa (one tap to the back of helmet. Not Cappin 🪖) all pmc’s died within 3 shots to the thorax. One tapped 2 of them to the thorax. ~3 shots needed to get through lvl 5. Any unarmored limb you hit instantly gets blacked. Normally always receive it back in insurance ( -attachments)

PSA: with flea, lightly modded HK416 is cheaper and better than most of the lightly modded M4 builds. However, a geeked out M4 is better than a geeked out HK416, but you’re paying quite a bit more for it. Sometimes they’re about the same price - so always be checking!

I like building budget 5.45 aks with bt shreds level 4 armor and will usually kill level 5 mid teir armors like tv rigs and such absolute laser and realy cheap

How do you cope with recoil on the AKS? The ammo is decent, but there’s so much recoil even on 100k+ builds that mag dumping is typically on practical at long range. I know the recoil from the first round is the worst, and you can run 60 round mags, allowing you to correct the recoil and spray with some accuracy, but this is never how the gun works for me in practice. The recoil also makes semi auto less viable. At 600-800 ruble/round for decent ammo, why wouldn’t you just run something else?

Its always funny how i see these (okay) budget builds, but never awesome ones. My M4 build (which i not even play because im an Ak guy) costs 150k with the gun included and has 51 recoil with suppressor. But nice work nonetheless!
