@@mynonleatherlife I think the biggest issues involve women expecting men to read their minds or give signals so subtle that men don't notice. Women can pick up on each others subtle signals but men do not communicate at that level, with women or each other. This leads to many women getting annoyed at men or regarding them as stupid. Men also usually end up blaming themselves for not being (for them) hyper-aware more. The collective self esteem of men is at an all time low, as women assume that the way they perceive reality is the Only way. A lot of men aren't really even sure what masculinity is due to various reasons, and could do with a reminder. How to play to our strengths.

Hi Victoria, Hope you're having an ace time! I remember seeing a tv program where a psychiatrist said that it's not uncommon for rape victims to develop a kink about it. They said it was how the victim dealt with the situation because now they were in control. I think the same thought process can be applied to lots other experiences. Another example would be that a person may develop a kink about cheating after a loved one has cheated on them. This made a lot of sense to me when I really thought through it. I have heard that explanation as well that the psychiatrist gave but I feel like it’s not that simple. I think it is just 1 theory but the true cause of why they develop is still unknown. This is so revealing and glad you are talking about this frankly. I believe women have these type of fantasies based on deep sub conscience desires rooted deep down but as you know in polite society won't verbalize it as they are afraid of being labeled slutty. A man can be aware of this and make it into fabulous foreplay and roleplay - it can be made fun and intriguing and as we know women get excited by the thoughts and emotions before anything physical. In other words a man can play on these fantasies without calling them certain things or making a woman feel she may be labeled - but she can just get into that fantasy and really be satisfied mentally as well as physically. I know a guy who brags about how he was changed from a masculine young man to this feminized, passive thing by taking advice from older women. I'm pretty sure it was at least partially a miscommunication (one told him he was too sexually eager, and he took that to mean he should be passive and wait for women to make all the moves.) He still manages to have sex and relationships because he's above-average looking and has a dog, but if he was less attractive, he'd be alone and spiralling into depression and confusion from all the well-meaning but un-self-aware women in his life.

@@mynonleatherlife sure. I really struggled with girls as a teen but through self observation, meditation and observation of unconscious patterns in myself and others things become more clear. It is a continuous learning curve for me. As soon as I was able to see my ego I could observe it and accept it when in the company of attractive women. I became less nervous and am able to enjoy the play of seduction whilst realizing it's all just a bit of fun and as a guy you won't die if you approach a girl, but your ego will be challenged for sure! As soon as you see your ego (unconscious behavior patterns) it has less effect on you as there is the destination between what is you and what is just your thoughts and emotions. As a late middle-age guy 6'4" and 250 lbs there's always been a niche of ladies that wanted a firm hand & someone who move them around a bit, if you know what I mean. It's been amazing to me the number of ladies who are down for submissive play and it's only been in the last 10 years or so that I've warmed up to that. Well that explains a lot about my past interactions (or more to the point failure in interactions) with ladies. All of those things very much turn me 100% off as I have zero desire to be in "control" of someone else in any way nor as a former sexual assault victim am I ok with any format of non consent anything even in a consensual role-play context and DDLG just feels so pedo ish in it's representation of unconditional love that it's a 1000% nope for me. I think the kink of dominance is a result of women being told they are bad for having sexual desires. By being dominated, they fulfill two elements, feeling dominated and sexually fulfilled, but with the “excuse” being they had no choice.

Edit: during watching the video... Maybe it's about explosivity too. I see most woman like to be emotionally, desirewise to be explosive. Humans have managed to find ways to categorize and label actions, feelings and emotions, and bundle them together as if they were all equal and then file them into subcategories that scatter them around into various taboos, interests and opinions. There is a built in mechanism in both male and females that drive these fantasies/kinks that nature has graciously provided. In myself, I understand many of the male components that are opposite of your description of the females.
