My little Shih Tzu (Trixie) recognizes your voices. When she hears you she comes and sits right at my feet and watches. As soon as the video is over she goes back to her little bed area. She is almost 14 years old now and she sleeps almost all the time. I'm having so much fun with these episodes! Hugs from Virginia.

Hello, Love love love you both. You have no idea how you helped me get through the loneliness of the pandemic. Anyway, I meant to write yesterday and give you a few of my tips. First with the felted pom poms that are bursting out of your washing machine...either put them in the bags that women wash their delicates in or a large pillow case that you zip closed and if you are worried about them not felting place a few tennis balls in the wash and that will help. Another tip. I get very bad migraines when candles are blown out and the smoke rises so I wet my fingers and quickly pinch the wick ,no you wont get burnt(well I'm not sure about you Arne) Just kidding ;-). Candle snuffers do not alleviate the smoke. Hope that helps and now I'm off to knit some Easter eggs!

I wish Arne could come and help me organize! I am remodeling and most of my crafts are packed and I will have such fun unpacking and creating a new space, I am sure I will find s number of UFOs as well. I know there is s needlepoint piano bench cover my grandmother started. (And the yarn is there, but not with it) It will be a true treasure hunt. I'm glad to know there's a Norwegian song about Christmas lasting until Easter, because my Christmas wreath is still on the door! I usually try to get everything put away by February, at least, but the extension cords for the fairy lights got buried under about eighteen inches of snow and ice (I live outside Chicago, but it was like the Arctic Circle this year), so I gave up. The snow has finally melted, so I don't have that excuse anymore - o darn! On a different subject - this goes back a few episodes - I would like to suggest that you make a cooking video with your veggie Swedish meat/notmeat balls - please!

I am getting so good at the Norwegian knitting and purling that I may do my next project that way. It has a lot of moss stitch so a lot of knit, purl, knit, purl which drives me crazy. I am a flicker, not a thrower, and can knit pretty fast, but not having to switch the yarn back and forth is a blessing! I could never get the hang of the continental purl, so I gave up. So I'm glad I found this method! Carlos, I'm glad you are feeling better and best wishes for a complete recovery! Cheers to both of you.

Lovely to catch up. The dogs may get better the more people they see as they haven’t seen many in the last year. Otherwise sometimes distraction can help, scattering a little dried food from their daily allowance when you put them outside or having some toys they like out there. Hope that helps 👍😊

Good day you both. I was watching another favorite video of mine on quilting and the material today was from the designer Linzee Kull McCray called Flowers For Freya. If you wish to look it up, it's on Jordan Fabrics of Grants Pass, Oregon, USA. Thank you for all you have done in the past year to keep our minds together. I look forward to each and every one of your videos along with Kate's in England. Last summer it was great to travel with you on your vacation and see your beautiful country. The information about each place you stopped was very informative. I felt like I had a private tour guide. PS I did make your pillow pattern and everyone I've given it to loves it, as does my couch! The Nice thing about your vlogs/podcasts is that I get to learn so much about Norway and life there, now all I want to do is go to Norway though. One day one day.......

I’m also learning to do needle felting, like Arne! I fell in love when I saw several needle felted items at the mill in Hillesvåg. Also, irises were my husband’s and my favorite flowers. Our florist wouldn’t let me have them for our wedding because they don’t last, so on the morning of our big day, he brought me a huge bouquet of them to have in my house. Finally, March 31 is when I have an appointment for my first vaccine shot! So I will soon be ready to visit Norway again and hopefully take a cruise with you!

I absolutely enjoy your podcast, your creativity, your livestyle and decoration! It is so inspiring! By the way: the rooted branches Arne has potted are corksrewhazel (Corylus avellana), witchhazel (Hamamalis virginiana) is blooming in right now with yellow to orange flowers...

Thank you for sharing the history of the cottages; it’s nice that they stay in the family. The flowers are absolutely beautiful. Carlos, your knowledge of languages is amazing. I love spending time with both of you, your descriptions are so vivid that I expect to look out my window and see the lake and fishermen. See you tomorrow!
