Morning Jami - Three mini donkeys, two caring hearts and one common goal. Andy, Brandon and Ceeword, walked into a pasture to steal a meal for their bellies and came away with a place of daily care and the purest of concern. There is but one letter that separates the word *grains* which is what these boys needed to nourish their bodies for a day, and the word *gains* which is what these boys needed to live a much better life. No doubt, this will prove an extremely long, difficult journey with these mini donkeys, but I know you and Lester have the skill, the knowledge, the backup team of professionals and hearts, that carry the determination to show these donkeys the meaning of love, something as foreign to them right now, as I’m sure living in a ‘gated community’ let’s call what their new home is, ☺️ to them. I truly believe you will reap the rewards of breaking though the uneasy, mistrust of humans these boys’ currently and understandably feel and when that day arrives, your heart will be filled with so much accomplished joy, that the road getting to that proud moment, will feel less like a difficult trek and more like an inspiring journey. Their overgrown hooves are what hurts my heart the most. I can’t believe it doesn’t cause pain when they walk, which might explain some of the orneriness. But, if anyone can bring them around with love and care, it’s you Jami and Lester.❤

Good Tuesday morning Jami and fur babies. These minis have come so far since the day they were introduced to us. Back then they were showing being more ferrel and coming up to the fence line. I didn't give them much hope at living a better life and I'm relieved their at LHL to start a road to recovery and possible gentleness 🤞. They seem to be slowly wanting to have closer contact. They are very cute and Andy being next to Dan, you can see they are tiny. I am excited for when you can love on them as they seem receptive to being around you. They have definitely landed in their own little paradise and won the lottery with their new human parents xx

I love how Danny comes over to let them know stay away those are his girls. One look and a vocal warning did the trick. One day at a time with the little guys. They have already made big improvements. The love you and Lester have for the animals will help them trust again.

While you were looking for places that would take them I just knew you would be the ones that would rescue them and give them an excellent chance of living their best lives. These Mini’s are going too be another success story on your long list of rescued animals.

The mini donkey triplets seem to be making progress. I do understand that it takes time to get them at a really good place health wise and in every other area of their new lives but they seem to be off to a good start. I so appreciate all that you and Lester are doing for them. You deserve an award or at least a merit badge for being good peoples.

Their medical conditions are probably quite hard to treat and their bodies will take time for the medicine to start working . I am thankful that you are. Then once they have their inner bodies and necks healed, you go for the hooves and get them trimmed up and they will be so more comfortable.
