I really struggled with that for a while as well! I felt like I couldn’t speak normally 😂 you’ll find your rhythm and voice with practice. You got this!

It seems like half of KZfaq is really messed up. An example is people like and follow videos based on how pretty things look and how clean, not actual smarts or technical knowledge. This seems like it will create a lot of shallow people if they are making decisions based on shallow depth, created by youtube culture.

I'm sorry if you already covered this but do you use an external mic and if you do what type of mic. And are you using your smartphone? Thanks

I have a video on my channel where I talk about all my equipment 😊 When I started I didn’t use any mics at all - then I upgraded to a small lapel mic from Amazon, and in early 2023 I got my Rode mic. I film on a Canon EOS M50, and usually only use my phone for vlog footage occasionally! Hope this helps 🙌

Having to grow and learn new skills is fine when you have the time to do so. But when you have kids to take care of, it is really difficult and stressful to learn new stuff all the time. Plus while in learning mode, you don't make any money and might never make any money with all those newly acquired skills, because it comes down to how good are you at marketing yourself and your products.

That is a very valid point. To be in ‘learning mode’ often means you have to sacrifice good income for a little while. When you have others people (especially kids!) relying on you, that is not something you can realistically do.

my least favourite is editing. My favourite part is writing the videos and thinking of new ideas for videos

🙈☺️ Maybe! But the way I see it, subscriber count is one metric among many. Based on average view count, I would still consider myself to be on the smaller side.
