It’s been 12 months since she left me. She got into a rebound shortly after. Not sure how long it lasted but forsure less than 12 months lol. During that time I read self improvement books listened to Jordan Peterson. Pushed my business (I no longer have to work a 9-5). Well I ran into her yesterday at the gym. I could tell my presence was affecting her. I do miss her but those feelings I felt are from the past(I’m analytical). Would I date her again? Potentially. As of right now I’m focusing on the business. I’m not sleeping or dating anyone. Nofap, no porn, self improvement. Financial freedom. I know my self worth now.

I don't care about my ex

Been going through a divorce and separated for 5 months now. The other day my aunt told me my ex wife messaged her on social media wishing her a happy birthday. To me it’s really nothing but my ex wanted the divorce and I told her goodbye when she refused to try and save the marriage. She knows the aunt she messaged is close to me and I know that she knows my aunt would most likely tell me. Like I said it can be nothing but at the same time I think it doesn’t make sense. She wanted the divorce and wanted to be”set free” as she said it. If your wanting to be set free why message my aunt?

My ex broke up with me to focus on school and felt like she was mistreating me and moved out of our place which is next to her university, it destroyed me because I gave her so much and thought I wasn’t doing enough but she felt like I was doing too much. Made all the wrong mistakes in the beginning of blowing up her phone, telling her how much I loved her and realized it was pushing her away. I left her alone and then 3 days later she asked to come over because she missed me and didn’t like not having someone to talk to. Some drama happened and I ended up hurting her feelings so I left her alone going NC to let her process the breakup. 3 weeks later she asks to come over again saying it felt like an eternity since she heard from me and didn’t like not hearing from me, I told her SHE broke up with ME and if she really wanted to go through with this then to get used to not talking to me, we acknowledged we made mistakes in the relationship and neither of us really wanna let go of our connection. Last time I saw her she kissed me on the cheek and said she still loves me but needs to figure out her life first and heal. Should I go back into NC? Or talk a little here and there 🙃

I am feeling responsible for my latest break up. In my case moving to a different country for a career move and she not being able to follow me bc she has teenage kids is an issue, but she also is pathologically jealous and has major resentment issues with me and I believe men in general and I did some self sabotage moves that eroded trust. Practicing Buddhism and getting psychotherapy are helping me deal with the situation. Second breakup in 6 months after 3+ years together. 7 weeks since, I did email her a bit but no contact for the last week. Pretty sure she doesn't care one little bit about me. I suspect she is fearful avoidant (I recently figured this out, don't think she even knows!)
