This is so easy I urge you to try it, super easy and kids love it not to mean so do the grownups...
Apple Cinnamon Damper,
3 cups of self raising flour
1 cup of water
2 apples
2 tea spoons of cinnamon
*optional custard
Honey and Fruit Damper,
3 cups of self raising flour
1 cup of water
1 handful of dried fruits
4 tablespoons of honey
*optional sugar (not needed)
Chocolate and Marshmallow Damper,
3 cups of self raising flour
1 cup of water
handful of chocolate
handful of marshmallows

The last thing this video kneaded was half-baked in-bread puns like those. I thought you had risen above that sort of Crêpe. It puts a damper on the whole video.

Another good one , Try using Ginger Beer or Ginger ale , instead of water , with dried fruit . Cook sausages , skewer them on a green stick , wrap with a thin layer of plain damper , hold over the fire until cooked, and make damper sausage rolls /hotdogs - kids love that one.

Sound is great. The lapel mic is working well rather than having loud and soft sections where the camera mic doesn't pick it up. Great vid mate :) keep them coming!

been loving all of your videos! I am in Arizona USA and terrain seems close to the same, just maybe less water here. You have helped me make big and small decisions for my 90 Montero/pajero. also, gonna get my friend to make one of these dampers next time we go out!

Great video Ronny, a few tips flour the bottom of your camp oven, and the less you knead your damper the better it is I just use the no knead way just use a knife to mix.

Hey mate, the misses and I always watch your cooking videos when they come out and love them! We have been writing quite a few of the recipes down as we are doing a month up to Cape York at the end of July and it got me to thinking. Have you and Harry considered collaborating on throwing together a little spiral bound weather proof camp cook book? The endless variations on the dampers, the Webber recipes and the camp oven recipes I don't think you guys would have a drama getting one together and I'd bet quite a number of your followers would grab a copy! Just a thought. Keep up the great work mate!

Ronny can you do Test on INOX spray you mention in one of the episode before. Comparison between fish oil, lanolin, Inox, WD40 undercarriage and engine rust preventative protection test would be appreciated. Currently, i do use INOX but its not conclusive.

Try soaking the dried fruit for half an hour before mixing for juicer fruit .

Great video Ronnie. Although I cringe every time you scrape something off of the cutting board with the edge of your knife. Use the back side of the blade to scrape....

Although it is organic material and it will decompose naturally, there is a risk of cross area contamination. If those apples are not native to the area they could introduce some disease which could be harmful to the vegetation there. Just like bringing firewood from outside of the area is not recommended.
