I did these for just over three weeks and I gained an appreciation for burning of the traps. I also got stronger. I believe in a few more weeks I'll be seeing some growth. I do all three, three times a week with a two day break in between. The deadlift with the shrug is my new favorite exercise.

This is exactly how I got my traps to finally grow. I did 4x25 with the same weight holding 2 seconds at top on each rep. Once I got all 4 sets I'd go up 5lbs the next workout.

Thanks John. I do the dreads with shrug from time to time. I also add a bent over row with it. So bent over row to sternum, dead, then shrug. That kills. And your comment on bouncing. I'm constantly correcting guys on form. The moment when one understand time under tension and gets the mind muscle connection. Gains sky rocket. Keep the videos coming John. I'm applying your methods. Mountain Dog./ Granite/ Iron Rebel. 100% support
