Once when I was in school I actually had to explain to someone she has to wash her genitals. She heard about the "vagina being self cleaning" and that you should "never put soap in your vagina" and thought that meant you don't wash the outside. I had to explain to her that no, you absolutely *do* have to wash the outside of your box and keep that shit clean and that the vagina being self cleaning refers to the vaginal canal, not the outside. After that she smelled a bit better but she still had bad hygiene, she also wasn't a feminist as far as I'm aware. Just really stupid.
