Of course he would have won more. The reason why Nadal always used to beat him was because of his weak backhand which is ready to be exploited by a lefty player who is also one of the greats. When he fixed his backhand with a larger racket their head to head was 6-1 in Roger's favour.

Sinner and Alcaras the future of tennis is are both 2-handed.....entertainment is a personal opinion. He retired with more GS titles than anyone in history. Won more matches and titles than anyone in history except for 1 man. So I think the 1 hander worked fine for him. The question of winning more titles has too many variables. If Nadal was right handed Federer would probably have 3-5 French open titles. If. Federer played during the 90’s when the courts were faster than he probably would have another 25-30 titles. Who knows?

I'd argue with the physical bit. He was one of the fittest guys on tour, despite his 'deceiving' looks. Mental strentghts, that's a fair point - that's where he fell a tad short compared to Rafa or Novak.

Once he had that mono he was never physically fully fit....It does not allow you to go full throttle....I would guess he missed many slams due to this mono thing (8-10 slams)....Look what happened to Robin soderling

This is how we called 2017 Federer after his epic comeback

After his second knee injury in 2016, RF retired for recover, trained and trained and secretly rebuilt his game entirely: his footwork changed, his hands positions changed, and most of all his backhand completely changed, stepping in the court more aggressively and hitting the ball much higher and faster, as a result and you can see the difference (when he plays Nadal with that green shirt) his backhand was unstoppable, he destroyed everyone and won 2 majors slams in 2017, Australia Open and Wimbledon, making this one of the most unbelievable returns after injury in the history of tennis. No one could believe it but Roger Federer Did it.

Federer was more of an all rounder and also had class and no controversy. A fan favourite for sure.

I doubt that even his haters would say he wasn't the best to watch. He still has one of the best stats along with having the best looking game. Sadly, with the state of the courts/balls the one handed backhanders will be significantly disadvantaged.

If you ask me the question literally "who's the greatest tennis player ever" the answer can never be Djokovic, his amazing consistency brought him to be the most successful player ever, but Federer and Nadal's peak are absolutely untouchable, if anyone else played them at their peak performance they would just get destroyed, Djokovic included (which happened many time by the way, so it's not an hypothesis, it's a fact). To further validate this point, Federer was leading Djokovic in H2H until Fed was 32, meaning Djokovic couldn't handle prime Federer at all, he did manage to win more in Fed's later years because Fed's game, although still brilliant, lost the consistency needed to beat Djokovic's "no-errors" type of tennis. Records don't define how good you were on your peak performance, you can root for Djokovic, he's obviously a legend of the game, but he couldn't have played in 2008 Wimbledon Final.

Also, who won that 2019 Wimbledon match? Winners and whatever else don't matter, the only thing that matters is who walks away with the win that it was Novak yet again. He completely dethroned Roger who was supposedly the king of grass and showed that he was better than Roger even on Roger's best surface.
