I wouldn't mind seeing the TMNT going back their mature roots, than their campy 80s days. The original comics were dark and gritty, and it would be great to see this happen.

I think this might bring a new side out of the fandom. And I also feel like this is too soon. They should focus on a live action mainline cinematic univerese. Maybe a show or a movie series.

I remember hearing a while back about a live action TMNT movie being in the works but I did not expect it to be an adaptation of The Last Ronin nor did I expect Nickelodeon and Paramount to grow the balls to make it R rated. I suppose they could do that if they just call it The Last Ronin and leave any reference to the turtles out of the title. This just made my day and I will have to keep an eye on it. 🐢

Tyler Burton Smith is the perfect guy to write this movie. He wrote an awesome fantastic script for Child's Play 2019 before the reshoots and the budget limits.

I wish we were getting a movie before this one and then have it jump forward I. The sequel to the Last Ronin to build some time and rapport with the Turtles and the Splinter of this iteration... But, OK. I know some people are going to say hat they might have flashbacks, but for me, that wouldn't be the same.

Mutant mayhem had the right idea with not the best execution. I think it depends on the 2nd movie on how I feel about the first. So far I rate the 2nd movie a solid 7/10 because of the ending. But everyone is entitled to their own opinionz
